After 2-3 days of research, and looking for a reasonable price range for a powerful upright. I came to this model as a final conclusion.

Specifically, that model has some of the strongest power in an upright amongst the ranks of the higher end Dyson's. The only downside is the weight, its very heavy. But I highly doubt that will ever be a problem since this vac isn't going anywhere outside the apartment.

Anyways thanks a bunch for some of the tips. I'll post my personal review on this vac once it gets in. From the countless reviews I've been reading though, I doubt I'll have any issues with it.
