I apologize if this is in the wrong thread, I just couldn't find anywhere else to ask. I played ffxi for 5 years, then lost my job and couldn't afford to pay for it anymore. it's been 3 months, I'm back on my feet and I was trying to come back to ffxi, but SE is saying that my credit card isn't mastercard securcode compatible. so my question is, does anyone have a tip or an idea that would guide me towards a card I can get that will let me start playing again.

well, it didn't take up all my life and my money. I had a good job, just lost got laid off. but, yeah, pretty much sums it up. just bored as hell and want to play.

On a somewhat related question; if I were to reactivate my account today would you get billed for this month then the proceeding months or just starting next month?

Since they bill for the month ahead instead of the month served, even if you re-activate a day before the billing period rolls over to the next month, you're charged for 2 months. Pretty terrible system, and no, they do not appeal to requests. lol
