01/26 POL Update Breaks Spellcast + Recast

Some slightly older versions of SpellCast 2.30 and Recast that work (for some reason):

Just wanted to warn people, I'm sure Aikar will look at it soon. Might want to leave your game running over night though, so that this doesn't hit you when you log in tomorrow.

Some plugins still seem to work fine (autoexec, silence, statustimer, etc), but both SpellCast and Recast give a "Failed to load plugin - (998 ) Unknown Error" message.

Confirming. Recast is broken for me, but everything else I usually run seems fine.

This is now a thread about how Jeryhn hasn't gotten up-to-date with the times and hasn't started using Spellcast.

ya, i was able to load spellcast as well. I still have no sound though.... any sound problems on anyones end?

Trying to log in and I get a

"Cannot replace pol.exe" error.

*Edit: fixed; had to log out of FFXI. First time I've had to do so.

weird, I dc'd and had to download the update before logging in and I'm having no plugin issues or sound issues

Oh nasty, I thought about staying logged in and then decided to /shutdown and look what happens. Bah. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Spellcast 2.3 didn't work for me, but I downloaded 2.22 again and that does work.

Windower scripts working fine for me .

For some reason only one of my 3 FFXI instances crashed.

(Actually, windower scripts don't work. Pauses in scripts have been broken since hook.dll update.)

Everything works fine for me including Spellcast with the exception of Recast.

Recast seems to be broken for me during the update, but Spellcast works just fine.

Spellcast 2.22 works, 2.30 doesn't. (it loads but does nothing else).

Recast broken as well, just felt like adding this info about versions.

Update: Spellcast 2.30 and Recast 1.73 are not working on my PC. Both giving 998 unknown errors. Windows XP, completely up to date on everything. :/
