100m gil spread out amongst 30 members (low end for active members for most ls too lolzerg) is just over 3 mil each

Stage 5 relic only benefits the person who gets it, "just over 3m" benefits everyone else.

Sponsored relics are rewards, not means to make a LS stronger (even though they do have that side-effect, but that should never be the reason).

100m spent in various meds will probably outdo the usefulness of every relic or mythic out there.

maybe its just me but i would much rather see it pay for a member to get a relic. who cant farm 3m in a few days if they tried? then again we really dont need to worry about people jumping ship to another ls lol, very very rarely does that happen

I must ask, do these linkshells with relic programs not pass out gil and all are sucked into relics is why some people are against it? Or is it just some are completely against a single penny from ls members spent on a relic period?

Personally I have the same viewpoint as Demos on this long as the system is designed to still give something to the other members during the entire sponsorship process.

I might have misunderstood this but are you saying that the problem with linkshells paying for last stage is cause people will start doing relics outside of Sword and Shield? Cause who cares what relic they want to make, if they have put in the time to be in linkshell put in their own work to get to the final stage I see no problem with me finishing it for them when it takes about a week for us to obtain the gil amount for the final the final stage. I'll make a Claustrum if the person upgrading has been around long enough and shown that he is a good active member.

As in someone who upgrades Great Katana, Scythe, Bow, Sword, Shield, etc.

They should fund their own last stage past the first one (or maybe two if they do Shield/Sword).

Ah ok, well when chop made his second relic in shell he was doing it on his own, but asked us if it would be ok if he took 20 100 loan from bank to finish up. At the time we were also working on Failures amano and Hosiens Mandau technically all the Jades were Hosiens so Hosien allowed it and just pushed back his completion a week or so.

I think it works great cause were basically giving the gil to the people who are going for relics to buy the currency to get to the point where we will just pay for it.

I'm guessing they stay because the LS works pretty well, they kill a lot of stuff and get some gil along the way? It's obvious that in linkshells that have been discussed the leaders do benefit far more in so much as they get their relics funded before others etc, or don't deduct points for taking out huge loans from the LS bank. I doubt members will moan too much while they're getting some gil though. The Ex system is probably the best out there for relics tbh.

I always dislike when people think that normal worker bees should always get an even payout as the leaders anyways, lol. Obviously there are limits, but even running small shells I've easily had to put in vastly greater amounts of time and effort towards making shit run than normal members, when you increase the size of the shell and the scope of the content it doesn't really get any easier. I think people tend to undervalue the amount of work that goes into actually making a shell run, it's more than just showing up.
