Actually iirc lance used the rest of Osiris bank when it disbanded to finsh his Burtgang. . . and to think he would have something to say. He does excellent work as a leader.
I was in Pers for about 8months~, in that time my character went from being extremely gimped to being a well geared account. This includes various r/ex plus alot of money drops. Also I was almost finsh with stage 3 to 4 to get my Aegis finished when I quit the shell(I'm sure we all know the story). If I would of stayed in Pers I could of easily finished Aegis+ 2 other relics by now with gilsplits alone.

Osiris bank NEVER had more than 90M in it during its entire 6 year history of a Linkshell. The only time it was high was during the inflation period where Dragon talons were 15M a pop and we killed Fafnir everyday. We were able to give gil splits out to our roughly 40 members or so. Osiris bank was always used to buy people their cursed items and most recently, Einherjar.
I finished my Burtgang with my own gil made during the inflation period on Haubergeon +1 / Hauberk +1 crafting that I never used. If I had known that PLD was going to get atonement 3 yrs ago, I would have used that money to go towards Excalibur, since these days, you can tank/DD. I actually started my Excalibur about 5 years ago, but stopped because they introduced Aegis. My Burtgang was finished BEFORE Osiris disbanded this past summer because I took a break from the game.
Osiris bank ended with roughly 10M and it still sits on my mule, untouched. Although I am trying to sell these Nidhogg scales I can't get rid of I was also NEVER in charge of the Bank during the 6 year history of the LS. Bankers were: Chipmunk > Nixeh > Portis > Fenriyl > Brhee, in order from oldest to newest.

Why the fuck is it okay for a shell to drop the gil for someones last stage because they bought the rest? If I put up 25m, will your shell give me the other half for a kraken club? It's a hell of a lot more useful to the shell! It's a terrible system to begin with, this shell just makes it worse because the leader is getting more than the rest of the ls combined out of it.

My point is nothing to do with gil splits, items recieved, or even how you run your linkshell really. I was just pointing out that in general, sponsoring last stage of relics is retarded. When you'll give me 25m to match my 25 so I can buy a KC, or consider doing the same for members, you might be able to justify it.

Gonna start out by saying that I'm only half disagreeing with you. Anyway, the point I'm getting at is that if an E-body can sell for 30-35mil, a hauteclaire can sell for 25mil, and a Ridill can sell for 30mil, doing a last stage relic for someone isn't really too far off 3 "big" items. I honestly don't know what Valhalla and other items sell for.

Really, it depends on the shell, but if someone is getting less than others, I don't really see it as anywhere near as unfair as you are making it out to be. And you can't say it has nothing to do with items received or gil splits. Anyway, my point is it really depends on more factors, you can't make a blanket statement. A good system can definitely allow for this, and deny someone 70-90mil worth of gear and/or payouts.

I've argued it before, and the best system in my opinion would have a solid relationship between points and gil, and relative value in points between r/e drops would be equivalent to sales price, and if someone wants to make a relic, and can pay that many points, it isn't the least bit unfair.

Anyway, I do agree most systems are probably nowhere near this, and people get relics with little to no loss themselves. Giving out r/e items and pretending they have no value is just as retarded as giving someone 100m+.

I already agreed with you that it's not quite fair as it is, but all HNMLS want to build up the amount of relics they get and all help their members with them in different ways and I don't think there is a 100% fair way to do it.

Bidding. Any items obtained are sold, members can bid against each other AND outsiders(in gil of course) to obtain them. All profit is split based on the people at said event. It won't be 100% fair as einherjar items are hard to sell, but competition and free market will make it as close as is humanly possible.

Again, you completely ignored what I said about this. That is the past and has been beaten to death. The only reason I rubbed it in your faces was because Portis said that people had plans to do things to me in real life and had posted my RL address on the admin forums which is as ridiculous now as it ever was, however I still stand by that I should have reacted differently to that situation and have apologized for it. And again, I never stole shit. Never.
