"USB Device Not Recognized" message

I just got my new PC not less than a month and since yesterday this message keeps coming up, "USB Device Not Recognized."

(looks like that but in Windows 7)
It comes up sometime every 10-20 seconds or it will go awhile before coming up again. The only thing I have connect to my PC through USB is my mouse and keyboard. I have tried to unplug them and replugging them into other USB slots but that does not work. I have also try unplugging it all together and the message still comes up. When I do click the message I get an empty box but sometime a box with two USB things, one in bold the other not.

I have tried to shut down and unplug my PC like some website have recommended but that doesn't work. I have also tried to restore my pc to an earlier time but that didn't work either (there was a windows' update and an AVG update which I thought was the problem but it wasn't).
I have a windows 7 home 64-bits system. Is there anyway to either fix the problem or just turn the little ding sound that comes up when the problem pops up?

Have you tried different USB ports?

Could be hardware failure. Or, one of the updates screwed the usb ports. You can try a windows repair installation and see if that fixes it.

I get it with my PSP time to time, when that pops up. Just re-plug it without acknowledging the error (leave w/e pop up open) and it should load. Well works for me, so who knows.

Yeah, I have tried plugging my mouse and keyboard into different ports but the bubble still comes up. Which are the only items I have connected through USB to my Pc.
I think I might have it solved. I went into the device Manager and went down the list disabling and enabling each USB to see which one could be the problem and I think I have found the USB. So far no message with it disabled, but we'll see i guess.
