^except in good gear. I Can't comment on bind cause it was a long time ago since I've played but I don't remember it being reliable. Expect to straight tank, once your THF is RR'd he can help you.

Another decent strategy is to find a couple friends who also want Xarc drops. Probably a group like rdm, thf, blm, maybe pld and split the cost of the glass. It will run you each 125k per run and you'd be able to straight tank easily, kill faster, and sac without wiping.

Of course although everyone swears they'll stay until all members get their drops that won't happen, but in that case just recruit another person.

And its always the leader who ropes people into doing runs that gets their drop first then breaks the group before anybody else gets a drop.

It has a lot to do with luck as well, once it started cure spamming, the pld jumped in to try and shield bash and stuff, he got hate pretty quickly which took a load off but it is possible with no outside help, we duo'd it down to like 8% or so before it started cure spamming.

Have one of the rdms come /drk and try to stun it? idk, or just save some MPs and CSS him down at 10%. Either way atleast the 100 paid for the run lol.

its nothing to do with luck, get a real nuking set and dispel buffs(including irrelevant ones) so he recasts them + use paralyze to lower cure 4 frequency

shit's stupid easy to solo idk how a duo would have any problems
