I believe there's a difference in say, walking outside and seeing a man knock another man out and wanting to attack him for hurting someone, and this. In the previous example, some guy could have been defending himself from an attacker, saving someone else, etc. This, is just plain, cold, brutal, murder. There is no motive, no underlying "we caught the guy that's been raping children for years", just a pack of thugs with serious mental problems killing innocent people.

To say it is hypocritical and silly to want to see to it that they be made VERY aware of what they've been doing to other by putting them through the exact same thing is what is truly "thick". If it makes me sick and pisses me off, it just proves I'm more human than they are. I'm not advocating murder, I'm advocating justice. I'm sorry but if i'm wrong to want to ensure these bastards suffer for what they've done, and to instill a true understanding in them of just how bad what they did was, then I don't want to be right.

I said put to death. As in, killed. Yes, I personally feel they should experience the same thing they induced 21 times over, and yes I understand that is my own opinion. It's the call of the families involved in what exactly should be done to them. I'm not neglecting that fact, however I'm not familiar with the law system over there and from what I've seen of our own, I'd half expect them to get out when they're 60-70 years old on pleas of insanity and decades of therapy.

For the religious types, god will sort all of this out in the end. The courts role is to simply insure that they cannot continue their destructive behavior. And that noone else shall suffer at the hands of these people.

For the people shocked at what they just saw. You are good people.

To those who think revenge, and advocate an eye for an eye aproach... in general, people all over the world have moved away from that approach as a resolution to these situations. Sure, in its day, the eye for an eye approach was necisary. But, today it is not. With the types of crimes these people have commited... thier time in prison will not be enjoyable. Those who willingly cut a fetus out of a pregnant woman, living or not, will not find solice in that environment. That is the best type of punishment you can provide. Place them in an evironment where the people thay were trying to impress are the ones who make their remaining lives horrible.

Putting people death is probably the easiest thing for them to endure. It may seem cruel unusual etc., but it's much harder living for 70 years than it is to just die. Personally, I think torture of a mentally deranged person or what have you wouldn't really do any justice, needs to be more mental torture of some sort. Find something that hurts and hit it hard.
