Before it'd just be for rarity since it only dropped from a broken NM that pretty much never popped outside of like a 1% chance after maintanance. They patched in an easy shitty NM a little while back that also drops it, I believe though. Just lulz, mainly, it doesn't look like he's hurting for gil/gear.

As for numbering, I just do 00-99 and /random for the first 3 digits. I should really skip numbers < 100 since I've never seen a single Bonanza number that wasn't 5 digits without leading zeros.

Does nobody realize that the chances of getting "close" are insanely high?

Take a rank4 prize for example. The winning # was 96. You had a 1/100 chance of getting that. But how many ways can you get close?
90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 97, 98, 99 <- 9 ways to be 1 digit off there
06, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, 86 <- 9 ways to be 1 digit off there
69 <- I'm sure someone would call this one close.
what about xx96x, would you call that close? If so, we have another 1000 ways to be close.

I don't even feel like getting into the # of ways to be "close" to first prize, but if I had to guess, the chances of getting "close" to a first prize are higher than the chances of getting a 4th prize.
