You're paying 210M for +6 Attack.
I guess if you're just that rich, and nothing else to buy. . .

Its not just the 6 atk, there is prestige in having 1/10? 1/20? of the best item in a game.
Are you crazy man!? Listen to yourself, you should be on fucking drugs!
It's the spell interuption rate down, because it maxes out your flim-flama, and then you can always cast your jimma-jamma

Forgot to get marbles on my main this year (>.>), but across 16 mules, I got 15 or so rank 5, 3 rank 4 and 1 rank 3. Can't complain, but I can high-five the moogle for picking all of my numbers :3
Rank 5 on all my characters, 3x on my main. I was one digit off Rank2...had 1165 Marble (rank2 is 1164 ><)
I am hearing that a player on Fairy named Squirtle won Rank 1 and...picked a Ridill. I really hope I heard wrong.....

No Ridill on there yet!
If you don't feel like running your mule back, find someone with a Nomad Cap (or very rarely, a Moogle Cap). It does party-teleport to each party member's respective home nation. Then D2 or deathwarp back to Jeuno Home-point when you're done.
Good way for a Jeuno mule to access Furnishing-storage once in a while, to stash stuff you never have to use but don't want to toss.
As an alternative, find a friend to get the Road to Aht Urghan quest items for your mule (it's a fair bit of work, but you can trade help to get it for their mule in return). Once you do the Wildcat quests and mercenary sign-up, you end up with a mule that can be shifted between Jeuno, Whitegate, and Home Nation whenever you like.
Rank2
rank3
rank4
10 marbles
moogle picked them for me, i was lazy. :3
rank 4 x1 and rank 5 x1 on my main
rank 4 x1 and rank 5 x1 on my mule
nothing on my other mule =/
I'm happy, best I've gotten.
Well actually the subtle blow is nice too, lol. People that don't understand the outrageous prices of AV items probably aren't putting it into the right perspective. Think people with no lives (I guess), great means of making gil, and who already have a relic(s) and otherwise perfect gear.
In my case, I'd tip my hat to anyone that knows of anything buyable that could tangibly improve my thief (IE not SonicBelt+1 for +def) other than Vajra, Mars's Ring, or Ninurta's. So when you get to that point, you have no choice but to pay market price if you want to improve yourself any further.
I have no beef with market price. If people are buying sashes for 250m, fair enough. I don't necessarily think it's that silly, depending on who they are. I'm not surprised that the price has been going up, but I am surprised that it seems (to me, loosely having monitored it) to have increased in price after a marked increase in supply. And yeah, I'd say 5 sashes up at the same time is a marked increase in supply, as opposed to one sold ever ~3-6 months. People may be willing to pay 250 big ones, but I'll tell you, those people are about as rare as the sashes themselves (makes sense of course, as price typically = the cross-point of demand and supply).
I'm of the belief that the price has gone up even with an increase of supply simply because now there are more people willing to sell. Not to mention those who are "in the market" may (rightfully as of now) see this as their only opportunity to get a N.Sash. As of right now this is the only way new ones will hit the market- another reason that they price has shot up.
Take a bunch of billionaires, put them all in a room with one chance to buy a Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and see how much it goes for. Give them all 3 weeks to think about it, and it will go for less. Or tell them that next week will be another masterpiece by picasso, the next week manet, etc. and the price of each will lower because there's always a chance to get another.
Broad generalisation, but i'm inclined to say that it's the huge gil buyers who have everything that are setting this so called "market price", and not your hard working fair playing person.
I've been told that the richest JP on my server refused to pay more than 120mil for the sash that is currently advertised on our server. Now I can assure you, this person already has everything you can possibly get. 4 relics, ridiculously augmented Flame Ring and Forager's Mantle, and pretty much every piece of "leet gear" you can get, bar AV and PW drops.
Lots of legitimate players that aren't huge gil buyers on BG can be said to have the status of having gotten literally everything for that one job, relic, HQ abjurations, HNM drops, etc. It would be interesting to see what they are willing to pay for this "elite" rarest item in the game, to complete their gear set.
I'm going to throw out an arbritrary amount and say not over 180mil.

If you pay 250 mill for an item in a dying game you are a fool. You could get a helluva lot of crack and hookers for the money you could sell all that gil for.
I believe if u r buying gil for a dying game, u r more of a fool
Birdman cape - I fly in any weather = priceless.
I got exactly what I was expecting, Shadow Lord Statues! lol
