How can you redo the add-on fights for new pants/body/hat? Do you have to toss the item before JP midnight and then redo the fight or do you have to get some cutscenes first? My friend tossed his pants, did the Shantotto fight but couldn't get any new key from zoning into Windurst Walls.

You gotta wait until a JP midnight after you've completed it, recollect all the ??? items you need for respective fights, and then drop your respective pants/body/hat before doing the fight over again. You'll get the key you need to get when you win!

In order to re-do AF quests, do I need to acquire all 6 pieces (weapon + 5/5 armor), and then drop them and reset? Or do I just need to do the main 3 (weapon, armor quest x2) that are actual "quests" and not coffers flagged by the "Borghertz's _____ Hands" quests?

I think you just change the numbers under "#Final Fantasy XI window resolution" in laucher file in windower folder.

Wiki says very clearly that all 6 pieces need to be acquired. I'm surprised after what....2 years or more...that no one has posted this.

However, you do not need to drop them to re-do the quests if you have done all 6.

Just read up on wiki, assuming it's correct.

I know Guillotine's one of the oldest WS, but I keep seeing DRKs with different opinions about what the best builds are. Just what am I suppose to focus on? Every time I ask a DRK on my server, I get different answers. One DRK says almost full heca + berk and another DRK swears by pure attack and accuracy only (he explains the 25% STR modification is worthless compared stacking attack). Just what kind of builds should I have or is there one that should fit them all? Either:

1. Mamools (Merit Camp)
2. Colibri
3. Dynamis (Kindred)

I finally got around to doing A Moogle Kupo D'Etat with a few buddies, and am on the QSC mission. I need to find 9 tablets/shards/whatever, and the goblin NPC says they are marked on my map, but they're not showing up.

I already found 5 of the whatevers, but the rest are gonna be annoying to track down without some idea of which door they're behind.

Has anyone else had this happen, and if so how did you fix it? Thanks.

Accuracy is obviously always the first priority, nothing will do more damage than landing all 4 hits. It depends on your Attack largely, especially vs. Lolibri. With Chaos/Food/Last Resort you can probably cap on a Dia'd bird relatively easily, in which case you'd want to go with the STR build, otherwise likely the Attack. My DRK isn't finished yet, but in my experiences with Guillo and similar WS, pumping up the straight Attack and fitting the STR around it goes furthest.

For Mamools/Kindred I doubt you'd be capping Attack very easily, so I'd take the Attack route there as well. You'd likely want both sets made and available either way so you can use them situationally.

Callisto pretty much covered it.

First land all 4 hits then look at what's left.

Generally speaking the order would be:

ACC (to cap) > Att (to cap) > STR and MND (eg AF+1 feet > heca feet).

Eating meat/pizza with chaos roll and some self buffs will cap your attack on a lot of merit type stuff, so at that point heca is a good option.

On things where you need more acc (so are going to wear ares feet/head) then you get some attack 'free' with your acc items (same goes for Virtuoso belt).

Accuracy should be less of a concern since the dawn of pizza, but it comes down to gear/merits/buffs/mob

It is very situational and you wont have a 1 size fits all WS build.
