Int+4 Macc+2 Int+2 FC+2

OR

Int+4 Macc+2 MAB+2 hHP+3

The second option will get you more damage, and I'm still thinking about kicking SE in the face for not making it hMP+3.

What should warriors typically merit for category 1/2? Sorry if this is a vague question, getting to the point where I have to start dumping merits somewhere useless...

Well...

a) I rather eat something like red curry with good acc gear over 2% haste difference (15% vs 13%) as it seems easier to eat ATK/STR and gear ACC than eat ACC and gear ATK. I always seem to parse much lower with pizza on SAM due to much lower ATK cap. Different story with MNK.

Red curry is overrated, with dia 3 and chaos you are almost at attack cap, if not berserk fixes it. Now if you don't use cor ... you don't get the benefits of red curry since your attack is too low (and you probably drop attack gear for accuracy too anyway).

b) I really like the counter attribute on usukane gote. Yes, I know I should just use in ohshit but it's nice to be able to use counter when shadows or third eye are up before needing to switch to ohshit build.

b) Honestly, I just got Usukane 5/5 and want to enjoy it (why you ruining my fun ).

Level monk and learn to play it then you will outDD your SAM, while being able to tank which an hasso sam/war can't.

Maybe I'll change my opinion after giving it the time with different parses... and also honestly I rarely play SAM as I generally only do small events like Salvage in which I use MNK, so it's nice to consolidate down gear.

Stick to monk then.

For all chariots you can begin casting ichi when you see it ready inertia stream or discharge. Save Ni for getting shadows up after Mortal revolution but really there is nothing very different and if you can beat ZR/BR bosses with ease then AR will be no different. AR boss does have higher evasion though and if you are using mnks they probably won't cap accuracy outside of full usu + pizza.

I don't think reinforcements can be stunned (mob always popped anyway after using blade bash) but if you are having issues killing the floor in time then have the brd 2hr songs before porting up, even with each rampart popping 1 tree each it should still be easy to kill well within time limit. Normal practice is to have 1 melee 2hr each rampart to ensure 0 or 1 tree max but it isn't necessary once you've done it a few times.

There are no cutscenes that have been reported of crashing...

I'm not trying to be the POL police or anything but the only reason why it might crash is because of corrupt data... from a downloaded torrent version of FFXI. If that's what you have that might be the problem.

Huh? Finally got around to buying them so I read up on missions and I thought the CS after the fight with the Tenshodo members for Shantotto at least was crashing people.

Wiki says you can do the fight on Windower and DC if you get tied up in the CS, log back in on normal POL and finish the CS.

The thing is, after you finish the fight you can log out. None of the cutscenes that require normal POL happen directly after the fight. You have to click on something in order to start the CS. So yes you can do the fight on Windower > Log Out > Log in on Normal POL and get CS.

I always used to run with sam/war (me) + mnk/nin because he was the only person in the group who couldn't fufil another salvage role (mage/Th4), for a long time people shit themselves at the thought of bringing sam/war to AR because of mortal revolution but its normally slow enough to swap in pdt set.

Got rng to 30 to solo promy dem NM for stone gorget.

What subjob and weapon/ammo should I be using, and is it possible without trotters/strider boots?

Edit: Also whats general strat for killing MR and whats best food to use?

Incase anyone is interested I did this last night without any form of movement speed. Satiator popped on the southern f3 where I pulled it to the section of wall just north of the southen-most Memory recepticle and kited it around.

Took about 40-45mins (would be much faster a second time because you figure out a rhythm) to kill it with sushi +1, holy/bloody bolts and truely shitty level cap gear. Only danger is if you don't hug the wall close on the south you may aggro a stray (which I did once during the fight but was easy to keep kiting NM and kill it off in 2 shots) and a gorger that has a huge roaming area, if it does move into range then its fairly simple to pin the NM on the north of the wall.

(500k accounts x average fee of 14.95 (12.95 plus 2 mules, which is being conservative, because 500k accounts but 2m characters means 1 main and 3 mules) x 12 months) / 365 days = over $245k/day. Even if the servers cost as much as WoW (which has 20x at least the number of players, according to that pic in the RIT, which I'm betting is being generous), they're still pulling in over 100k/day. Is there some kind of extra expense I'm not aware of that is keeping the dev team so small that it takes them 3 years to put finish an expansion?

Skype works fine for me, but you will find the following to be the best option:

Locate folder containing Skype, uninstall
Download ventrilo from www.ventrilo.com, install
Find decent friends who use Ventrilo, because only fags use Skype
