Recently, I have been soloing QQTh on RDM; well not exactly completely solo, as I bring a Th4 2box as well. So my question is (I have pretty above-average gear on my rdm and 2box) what other 35 NM's do you think I could duo? I'm after the 35's for Morrigan Set, Skadi Gloves/Pants, and Usukane Feet/Body, which I will probably just buy off of a Salvage shell. I'm thinking the only realistic possibility would be Macha's slops/freyr's gloves, and maybe macha's crown. Even those may be pushing it; however, if anyone has any input on how to solo/duo any of those that would be great!
I don't think that's enough support tbh. There's times that he does 2 breath moves back to back which could really bring down HPs of your DDs alot. Another unique thing about WARs was that since RR is a criting WS, we managed to chop off at least one head alot, which prevented him from doing Nerve Gas.
Also, since you'd have 3 people on it instead of 2, that's even more people to heal/take status ailments off, asking for more support.
What STP is needed for a 450 Delay Great Katana at level 70?
nobody cares that you rmted an aegis, pld is worthless on tinnin

quick question, but did the salvage dat website go down? manafont.org doesnt even work anymore let alone the salvage dat links
The funny thing is, the guy with the rmt'd Aegis is such a god aweful player you should be putting his name in brackets as opposed to Aegis.
@BME
AR: Bhoot and Flayer are both doable solo, would be a bad idea to try and straight tank either though. I think flayer doesn't even move in to melee until below 66-50% and loses aggro pretty easily.
SSR: You can dual box GG for skadi gloves without too much trouble. Powderkeg can be trio'd by mnk thf rdm with ease, probably doable without the mnk.
BR: You can pop and survive f2 rampart as melee + rdm provided the rdm has a decent enhancing setup for phalanx (obviously you won't be keeping up with the pop rate so sub /blm and sleepga. The same also applies to f1, a rdm + thf should be able to kill bomber with chainspell and tp stored prior to fight (I wing may also be a good idea, so long since I fought it).
Usu body is doable with 3 people but I wouldn't like to try it dualboxing. As for ZR, I don't know if f5 frog would pop without having 3 people in zone, but as a trio it is easy to pop/kill both f5 and f6 frogs so it is usually easy to give an extra person enough incentive to come along (RDM DD THF).
I got a failnaught for my samurai. Opinions:
-Do I use it full time for -emnity and subtle blow?
-Do I swap in a Tiphia Sting for WS?
-Do I sell it back for 100k more then I bought it for?
I need space. BRD - which instruments can I get rid of, considering I don't do HNM at all?
I'm looking to keep my BRD somewhat well geared for the few things I might need to bring it to. Right now I have an instrument for everything, and can make excuses for every one. I need an un-biased opinion as to which ones are 'required' and which aren't.
You can duo all salvage NMs except skadi body, frog's 35 drops, and usukane haramaki. Since you asked howto :
- bhaflau :
* 1F rampart is easily killed with RDM 2H and Fire III (average rdm gear). Bringing a THF can only make it better (TH3/4).
* 2F rampart is popped by killing the 4 puddings w/o magic and JA, so it's just long to pop as thf meleing, it takes ~20 min to pop. You absolutely want phalanx II to survive 5 bees at a time.
* 3F rampart : THF pull Gears one at a time, RDM sleeps them at 1%. Then you kill them simultaneaously with a spell and a WS (thf saves tp). The colibris inside eat food, so it will be hard to survive. For this i'll recommend subbing BLU and have the rdm spam diaga to have the colibri on them. When a NM pop, be careful as it's quite hard .
- Silver sea remnant :
* 1F NM (usu head). Either have the THF supertank the 6 fomors that pop the NM, with phalanx II up. Be sure to erase anything that needs to be erased, especially the defense down move. Another method is to have the rdm/whm supertank with def food and capped spell interruption. The NM on itself is not hard as long as you keep debuffs on it.
* Morrigan leg NM : On first floor you should take the side where there is no NM, unlock every possible slots for both RDM and THF then warp up. This takes 15 to 20 minutes. Once in morrigan room, be sure to systematically dispel protect on the fomors, apply dia III and slow/par. If you are comfortable with refresh gear, bring a sword and help melee. You can also engage the mob before the thf to allow a sneak attack at start. This takes almost the whole run to do.
* Ares NM : same as above on first floor, after that kill 8 gears then the NM.
* skadi NM : nothing special except you need to take the warp that avoids dekka, the imp in the room that drops marduck.
* marduck NM : nothing especially difficult.
- Arrapago :
- 1st QQA are easily done with a skillchain rdm+thf and then a chainspell nuke.
- for QQTH, you know what to do.
- For the flayer NM, THF has to tank, rdm debuffs. Ice spike is annoying, you have to spam paralyna on the THF. THF has to bring magic defense gear to eat blizzaga. MP can be low at one point, in this case gravity then have the thf kite cleverly (aka don't go in a dead end and get nuked before being able to move)
- For the ghost NM, a very simple strategy is poison II > bio II > gravity > run until it de-aggro and repeat.
- The chariot is easily tanked by the THF with debuffs.
- the last QQA is easily killed if you can clear the path (it takes time)
Any idea where I can get edited maps such as Sean's map pack but for newer areas like WOTG?
