Go through this thing to get a ticket and their phone number. Pretty sure you need to provide your ticket number when calling, these days. It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but meh, it seems the only way.
It is.
Horn +1, Faerie Piccolo, Mary's Horn, Cornette +1I need space. BRD - which instruments can I get rid of, considering I don't do HNM at all?
I'm looking to keep my BRD somewhat well geared for the few things I might need to bring it to. Right now I have an instrument for everything, and can make excuses for every one. I need an un-biased opinion as to which ones are 'required' and which aren't.
Is +2% the max MAB equipment can get from an augment?
It seems highly likely that it is, at least for non-body pieces.
I've been meaning to write up a post about what I found when I looked across pieces, but basically it seems there's a per-slot cap on a lot of stats and things. Generally this cap is either some globally set minimum or it's based on other equipment that shares that slot.
For instance, if I'm not mistaken 2 MAB has been observed on:
Ranged (Rune Bow), Back (Rainbow Cape), Legs (Mahatma Slops), Head (I forgets), Neck (Philomath's Stole)
Only 1 MAB has been observed on rings, which likely indicates that it's the max there because the sample size is so high.
Up to 5 MAB has been observed on Elemental Staves.
MAB has, to my knowledge, not been observed on bodies. However, most of the augmented bodies that people would be excited enough to post are Weskits, which are doubtlessly over the cap for augmented MAB already. Until someone goes on a non-weskit augmenting spree and doesn't get any, I'm going to assume the cap may be as high as MAB+5 for bodies.
Edit:
For multiple reasons, I see the benefits of augmenting Errant Hpls vastly outweighing the benefits of augmenting weskits, especially if you have multiple jobs that can wear it (SCH, RDM, BLM, BRD, etc) and probably carry one anyway for resting.
1) Enfeebling Skill - For a RDM potency build.
2) Elemental Skill - SCH MAcc or RDM MAcc builds
3) MAB - It needs about 4 to be better than Morri body for nuking? Obviously SCH doesn't get access to Morri body or Weskits.
4) MAcc - Again, potency build on RDM or nuking MAcc builds. Also very sweet for BRD.
5) MCrit - Really just icing.
6) Dark Skill - Just thought of this, but you can probably get up to 5 Dark Magic Skill, which would make this comparable to Nashira body.
Personally, I have 5 Divine skill on mine (lol) and haven't bothered going back to augment another. There have been no reports of Bard skill through FoV augments, so you can hold off speculating about that.
Have any of these results actually been seen? I've been planning to start synthing a lot of Houppelandes soon, to try and self-sign a Mahatma for my RDM, and if these are actually possible, maybe I should be throwing the NQs into FoV augments instead of just selling them.
MAcc and MCrit have been observe on Weskits. I've personally observed 5 Divine Magic skill on my own Hpl.
Skills: Of 102 recorded body armors, 52 have been Weskits. There were only 15 other 70-75 bodies. There have been no reports of enfeebling or elemental magic, but there have been reports of Divine (x5) and Healing (x1). Divine skill +6 was seen on one weskit, so that might be the cap. Obviously you can't get Elemental skill on a Weskit, so there's no easy way to tell if you can get Elemental+ on a body without getting a larger sample size of non-weskits. +Enfeebling and +Dark might be impossible, or they might just not have happened and been reported yet.
MAcc: +1 and 3 have been seen on Weskits, and that can possibly go higher.
MCrit: +5 and 7 have been reported on Weskits.
MAB: +1 was reported on a Dragon Harness. It's the only MAB reported because you can't get MAB on Weskits. How high it can go is a big question mark at the moment. Could cap at +2, could cap at +5.
Just to note, if you sign something you can't augment it. Might sink that plan before it starts.
Yeah, unless you feel like AH-wiping all the sigs in a starter city.
Concerning Evoliths, if you add for example, Vs. Demons: Defense +15 to a Koenig Shield, would that +15 defense count only towards your overall armor defense, or would it serve also to increase the defense specifically on the shield to be counted in the damage mitigation from a shield block?
Monk solo Hammerblow guide Go!
Assuming its MNK/DNC, pull hammerblow room mobs 1 by 1 using deaggro? Weapons available: Destroyers, Faith Bagknakhs
Better going SAM/DNC? Don't have Soboro. Weapons available: Hagun, Love Halberd, Gondo-Shizunori
What if I dualbox RDM/WHM? MNK/WAR? Stay MNK/DNC?
Bring your RDM dualbox with phalanx II, aggro the room in PDT and supertank them in PDT gear/+HP. They will hit for zero except crits. No idea if you can solo the NM on mnk/dnc..
MNK/DNC works better for it apparently. I spoke to Vegetto about it back when I needed and I gave it a bash~ Really easy. Just same thing as if you were SAMing it.
I highly doubt RDM could solo, unless you have epic DD gears.
I am doing a small PHP Application but having trouble for one thing that makes my numbers slightly wrong :
Attack +20% (Cap: 150@750 Base Attack)
How do you precisely calculate this ?

I'd apreciate some feedback.
