He might feel cool, trying to prove a point. I personally think he's a fucking idiot, along with anyone who pays money to go with a flow.

HAHA I'M SURE GLAD I SPENT ¥6800 ON THIS GAME AND SUPPORTED THE DEVELOPER ONLY TO CUT IT UP IN TO LITTLE PIECES.

Wow I want to play that game. Another epic game that wont be released here. ;/
This thread now makes me angry.
Not gonna lie, the fact the guy can do that and yet still play another copy which he fully understands kind of makes me mad. Guy's trolling hard lol.
First hour of play. Someone here might find it interesting. No translation though.
Kouli has a huge amount of the game uploaded if you just wanted to watch it being played through.

The Last Story on the PC brought to you by Dolphin.
Looks like I won't be buying this game on the Wii even if it comes out in the west lol
I had no luck with Dolphin. Tried to get Xenoblade running but failed. With so much text, and understanding so little of it, I had best just keep my fingers crossed.
Xenoblade took me a while to get working. Best results with SVN 6398; solid 30FPS (cap), minor lockups here and there so save often. Got like 25 hrs in without knowing wtf was going on but the game is sweet. XD
Might give The Last Story a try just to mess around with the combat system.
I totally forgot about dolphin, I'll need to start that up again, though all the revisions and shit got annoying. I hope they patch the game with translations though.
So it might be coming after all?

It's not much but it's worth hoping it does happen. The first real hint that Nintendo of America may be localizing The Last Story has been dropped with the discovery of a registered domain Mistwalker's Wii roleplayer. Although Nintendo has stated it has "no plans" to bring the game Westward, this bit of news gives us a clue that the company is at least not ruling it out.
The domain was registered in early 2010, so Nintendo's been sitting on it for awhile. The company also has one for Xenoblade, which makes sense considering the title was recently confirmed for Europe.
Nintendo, like any company, enjoys squatting on domain names, so there's no ironclad guarantee. Nevertheless, it's encouraging stuff, and I'm still certain we'll see the game in the United States before too long. It's not like Nintendo's got anything else coming up for the Wii right now.
If E3 doesn't bring a Last Story announcement, I'll weep for all time.
why do I feel like it's 199X and we're seeing games like Final Fantasy V, Mother 1, and Dragon Quest VI all being released in Japan but not here... between this and Xenoblade it's deja vu all over again
at least there's a glimmer of hope in that report... sigh.
Am I correct in thinking that they just believe the cost of localizing these games will outweigh the sales revenue from them? Otherwise, I can't see how they wouldn't want more money right now. That seems like the logical reason. It just sucks because the Wii is just shit right now as far as I am concerned. Playing Xenoblade on an emulator and it is better than nearly any RPG I have played in recent memory. Open areas, "NM's", great music... wtf. I will buy it day one if it comes out here. The Last Story as well. I am tired of the garbage we DO get. Lost in Shadow is the only Wii game I am playing now and before that I can't even remember... Arc Rise Fantasia maybe? And the VA in that has made it slow going.

Rumor: Europe to receive The Last Story
While in Paris to attend a concert performed by Masashi Hamauzu, the current composer of the Final Fantasy series, Mistwalker president Hironobu "The Gooch" Sakaguchi mentioned that the Wii action RPG The Last Story would definitely arrive in Europe. This info jives well with an earlier rumor from a Nintendo rep in London.
If legit, this means Europe has both Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story to fulfill their Wii JRPG desires. It also means that the States is still getting stiffed hardcore by Nintendo. Did we offend you in some way?
Japan has all but given up on the Wii, and no one in Europe gives a flying fudge about software unless it says "Just Dance" somewhere on the box. The only major region that still somewhat supports the damn platform is the US, yet Japan and Europe are where the most exciting projects turn up.
Nintendo reminds me of that kid in school whose ego is so gargantuan that he can't stand it when someone doesn't like him unconditionally. He could be the most popular guy in school, but he won't pay you a lick of attention until you stop paying him any attention. He's trying to gain favor with those who don't want to hang with him while ignoring those who do.
Stop being that guy, Nintendo!
Europe getting the game at least means I'll get to play it. Mistwalker and Nintendo just won't see any money from it.
