First it was Trails in the Sky, and Ys. Now it's TLS. XSEED has been my favorite localization company.

Great news indeed. EU version comes out in a few days (or today?) so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Really want Ao no Kiseki and Zero no Kiseki localized (my favorite of the "trails" series). Since Zero no Kiseki is getting a Vita edition, there is probably a higher chance it'll one day make it over here.

As for The Last Story, wonder if they plan on keeping EU voice actors in the NA version.

Started playing this game today. The story feels really... disjointed so far. Like, I really have no idea what's going on or anything. I have high hopes, though! I love me some Mistwalker.

Pretty cool that they're bringing this to NA, but I don't think I'll actually buy it instead of downloading. I played the JP version for a good 15 hours and I wasn't really impressed.

It's probably worth buying even if it's just to encourage the console rpg market. I'm definitively buying xenoblade even if I'm not planning to replay through it (spent over 200 hours on the game on emulator)

Yup. I have played a hefty chunk of both the JP and EU versions of Xenoblade, and I have already pre-ordered my NA copy. Same can be said for The Last Story. Played a bit of the Japanese version, but really wanted to know wtf was going on. About 4 hours into the EU copy and so far it is definitely going to be pre-ordered. If for no other reasons than to let Nintendo know it was worth bringing over... and to create my own custom case cover with the amazing art that is out there.

I guess I may buy The Last Story, but depending on how much I like it once I'm done with it, I may wait till a price drop first.

Xenoblade I'm definitely buying day 1, though.

I'm not sure about buying games you don't really like for the off chance of getting one you do like in the future, seems silly.
But yeah, KuroTsuki, your plan of playing it through and then seeing about buying it is probably a good way to do it... but only if you actually plan on spending money on it if you actually do end up enjoying it. (assuming you care about your money helping or w/e)

I'm not asking you to support a game you hated, but Xenoblade was great, and Last Story is most likely going to be entertaining as well. If it's terrible, then w/e, but pirating a game when the studio is struggling is lame if you have no plan to support it.

If I enjoyed it, I go out and buy it. I did the same for No More Heroes 1-2. And I buy new as well, if possible.

I actually thought this game had already came out since Amazon had it listed as June 10th at one point. Glad to know it got pushed back to August, since I'll actually pick it up now :D.
