Gamestop said they would get them in this afternoon.

Software usually streetdates on Tuesdays so I just assumed it had been shipped over the weekend like most releases. The Last Story isn't a normal release though.

The irony here is that they've had the preorder bonuses already at that location for several days now.

Mine just shipped from Amazon... still says it will be here Friday. I have seen prime shipped item get here over night. I hope so, I'm off work tomorrow and can't wait to play.

At the end of the game, and its been 2 week so im not really going to spoiler this.

All the walkthrough said is NOT to get the items during the second raid on the Gurak Castle (gurak doll, pot, comb) because they're used for a quest later. Well, its later and I'm in the Epilogue and unable to find a way to warp back to Gurak Castle to get the items. It is really racking my brain because i want some stuff upgraded before trying New Game +.

Anyone?

Finally had a chance to play this game.
Was really good, almost thought to play NG+ after beating it the first time in 15hrs.
I have a few games I still need to play, so trying to rush through them as fast as possible, and all I can say is, thank god for having the ability to fast foward during cutscenes; more games need to have this.

I know this is old as balls now, but since it was bumped anyway, I'll answer anyways in case it might help someone else in the future.

You need to leave the items and after you've beaten the final boss and are back in town (I have a shit-tastic memory and cant remember the chapters name at that point) and at that point talk to the people in town (look it up on the wiki) and go to your map and click the little bubble outside the main towns continent, and that should take your cursor down to the fire island place. Then click on the castle down there and it should fast-travel you to there. then just go around and pick up the items from their chests and when done talk to dude at the entrance to leave and go back to main-land.

If that's not entirely helpful and need more clarification I can load the game up since I kept saves for that point in the game "just in case". =)

Also, game was truly awesome, and even thought of going straight into NG+ myself which would be a first for me. Unfortunately, my huge ass backlog and Xenoblade denied that possibility lol. I haven't enjoyed an RPG as much since I played Lost Odyssey which I'm sure is no coincidence since Mistwalker is behind both. =) I'd love if Nintendo ended up buying out Mistwalker like they did Monolith so they can start making more games. Nintendo also needs to stab Bamco in the fucking eye with a rusty fork and demand rights to Xenosaga and reboot the series and have Mistwalker properly re-make it, un-edited, and in it's six part glory on the U (character models from Ep 2 can stay with Bamco though...), but I digress. ^^;
