Or you could make your title: Not not Pirian
Still don't understand why people being gay is still an issue in this day and age. Why does it matter to people?
Gays spread AIDS. See? It even rhymes.

Gay commercials, in my football game, I think not!
Some wholesome childrens entertainment from the early 90s. If this was ok back then in a show aimed directly at children I don't see the problem with the commercial during an event aimed at adults.

I think that was a spoof the actors did just for the crew etc. wasn't meant to get leaked out. I don't have sources though
and honestly, the ad wasn't even that bad lol
the black dudes face at the end gave it some lulz
and if you're child is too young to be thinking about gay stuff then like many others have said be a good parent and just explain it simply to them.
"It's a site for gentlemens gentlemen, you'll understand when you're older. It's not necessary to think about it now"
is that really hard?
if your child presses harder on the issue then simply say "some guys like other guys. and some girls like girls. it may sound strange but you'll get it when you're older. just keep doing what you're already doing. don't worry about it"
wow. there. I did the hard part for you. so hard.
How is this proof of CBS being anti-gay? The only people crying wolf here is the company being rejected. CBS clearly states that the credit history of the company was a major factor in rejecting the commercial. I would really like to see the actual statement from CBS and not little snippets.
You guys all have great points, you should definitely boycott CBS during the Superbowl to protest them.
Blah blah private company running itself how it wants to. It's well within their rights to piss off anybody they want, maybe not the smartest business move, but still nothing illegal happening.
none of the shit belongs in major viewing event commercials, unless you want to have ratings so we know when there's going to be some ads for such and such movie showing a bunch of fighting, talking about "we gon be killin nazis!" and we've got kids in the room, especially watching sporting events
honestly pretty much anything reasonable people could provide a reasonable objection to shouldn't be in commercials, especially during the super bowl
And yes, "I'm here to watch the super bowl, not explain to my 8 year old why 2 guys that look like his uncle and a friend are making out on TV," is a reasonable person making a reasonable objection.
The counterargument is "I never had to explain to my kids why bugs bunny just kissed Elmer Fudd, then married him, so clearly I'll have no serious need to explain the guy's kissing commercial; most of the time kids just laugh at the stuff they don't understand anyway."
Failure to see that perfectly reasonable argument is a sign of parental insulation brought on by blind fear, and that's a terrible way to raise kids. And CBS is being a right twat for ducking the gay controversy but embracing the 'pro life' one.
I don't remember bugs bunny kissing and marrying elmer fudd... maybe when he... dressed up like a woman and did it to trick him for something that made sense in the plot?
Failure to see why a huge percentage of people don't want their families watching a random friendly gathering of men watching a football game turn into a make-out party is pretty willfully blind to the simple fact that not everyone agrees with you.Failure to see that perfectly reasonable argument is a sign of parental insulation brought on by blind fear, and that's a terrible way to raise kids. And CBS is being a right twat for ducking the gay controversy but embracing the 'pro life' one.
Also, when the fuck did football become not appropriate for children?
Don't let them watch? Are you fucking kidding me?

Bugs Bunny routinely kisses dudes; it's a stock Tex Avery gag and doesn't always involve cross-dressing (something else you never needed to explain to kids).
Yes I often see evidence that a people are irrational beings inclined to be afraid of Teh Gay. I understand that people don't want their kids exposed to it for really, really bad reasons. I'm merely pointing out to the obvious: there's no valid reason to be afraid of it. If I disagree with them, it is because they are wrong. :dos equis:
I forgot, gay is a scientific factual genetic property here.
My bad.
