That third picture... there is absolutely no color between her lower eyelid and her cheeks. Its all just some flat, smooth surface, like a motionless desert. I've never seen supposedly-living humans so utter devoid of life.

Why ARE these pageants still held?

Some of these people look like mannequins with faces painted on them. They don't even look like people.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say. Why do they need to heavily shop women that are already beautiful (or at least I think they are. Hard to tell with the heavy editing)? I mean, yeah to get rid of a stray pimple or something makes sense, but it looks like they completely chance the color and texture of the face.

She had that picture taken before she was crowned, so they had to be user submitted. Oddly enough, that same picture is used on the TLC site. I'd have thought they would put them all through a studio session.

edit: nvm, i just looked at the pic for more than 2s. and its enough for me to stereotype what kind of person they are lol. im not really quick to judge, but none of them stand out
