I come home to find a cat outside my door

I just got home from my friends house and as I get out the elevator to my apartment door, I see a cat cuddled in my door. I blink like 10 times as I am still 420 and the cat is still there as I get closer to the door. It's less than a year old, I would say 6 to 8 months old and it's a female.

What do I dooooooooo. For the record, I already have a cat and a tortoise.

Post fliers in case someone lost it nearby. Otherwise keep it! Or give it to a shelter for adoption.

I think you should keep it. Obviously its a sign, since she picked your door to curl up in front of.

Contact your local shelter or keep it. If you know you can't afford the shots/ can't keep it, then don't just ignore it. I presume that you aren't cruel, so at least give it a fighting chance.

I have a big heart for animals. I gave it food, water, and a place to stay for the night. I can take care of another cat but wow to be hit with it so randomly!

If the wife says keep, We can all name decide a name for her.

before you decide to keep check at least your apartment neighbors to see if it's theirs. It's possible it sneaked outside. My first kitten decided once to walk down the street, and our neighbors found him 10 houses away lol.

I've had this happen to me some many times. It seems that people are here either drop them off on the doorstep or the cats are just attracted here lol. Hopefully your wife says keep and we can start naming... I saw Bobdole already so GlennBeck it is
