I can at least vouch for the sound quality in the Zalman? I pair it with a ... pair of Audio-Technica AD700s and have used them together for about 2 years now.
One thing i have personally found with the Zalman, it needs to be close to your mouth to really pick up sound. Even using its clip (which leaves oh so much to be desired) on the cord doesn't get it close enough. I made a DIY boom myself for it so that it swings in front of my face when i need to use it.
Going to be redoing the whole thing soon though, and set it up like this instead:

Then i can remove it whenever I like. Just something to consider if you go this route and have to use your own mic. 100% happy that i did, but aesthetics are a big part of anything for me... so yeah.

I can't vouch for the site but I've been using these since 2007 and I love them. Sound quality isn't AMAZING but the microphone is excellent and I have had zero problems with it since buying.
My work carriers these so I picked up a set to replace my dying Microsoft Lifechat headset. So far I fucking love it and everyone says I sound a lot better on vent. I think my ears are a bit too big for them though since after wearing them for a couple of hours the tops of my ears kinda hurt. :/
Logitech G330 gaming headset. Very good price for what I use (vent ffxi, music etc) and very comfortable

Sennheiser PC350. Its a Sennheiser and its also a headset. That should be pretty much all you need to know, but here are my other impressions from personal use. It's 3.5mm, not USB so that might be a problem, but if you are looking for quality, comfort, and durability, I'm not sure you could find a better pair around this price. I'd say this is probably the best sounding headset you will find (note: headset, not headphones. There are plenty of competing and better headphones, including plenty of Sennheisers). It has lasted me forever and is in the same shape as the day I got it, which is saying a lot considering how easily I seemed to break headsets in the past. Sound quality is fantastic, which is a bit harder to come by when you are looking at headsets.
The only thing that could get annoying if you aren't used to it is that they are not only circumaural (these should definitely fit around 99% of people's ears pretty easily/comfortably), but also closed-ear to keep in sound and block out external noise at the cost of little ventilation. I'm very used to closed-ear headsets so I can wear it for extended periods of time happily, but some people need the ventilation of open ear sets to really be comfortable.
Shameless plug, but I'm selling a Sennheiser PC160SK for $40, shipped. Perfect working order, served me extremely well.

Clipped down to the relevant bits I don't think I mentioned enough when I also brought up the PC-350 headset.
It's 2x stereo mini (1 jack for headphones, 1 jack for mic). There is no USB option. Inconvenient, but lends itself to better sound quality.
When I first got mine, I was expecting Sennheiser headphone-level sound quality and was sadly disappointed. The PC-350 sounds great for a headset, but it's not in the same league as comparably priced headphones from Sennheiser and others. With enough attention to EQing and level adjusting, they can sound very good, but it's effort that shouldn't be necessary... if you're dropping a bill on a headset, it should sound good as soon as the drivers are broken in, not after extensive tweaking.
Sound-wise, they are very clean, but very, very bright. Intentional I'm sure, to accent sharp noises like gunshots for gaming. Without any adjustments, the bass is godawful, so there is no "oomph" to anything. Watching movies is painful if you don't make adjustments. Even gaming was painful for me because the sound reproduction was too inaccurate.
Build quality is great. My PC-350 headset is holding up much better than the HD-280 Pros it replaced. Doesn't sound as good, but the plastic is both stronger and more flexible.
For PC headphones, I like circumaural and closed ear. Circumaural makes them much more comfortable to wear for long periods since they're not resting directly on your ears. Closed ear is useful because it both helps block outside noise and ensures that you're not annoying everyone in the immediate vicinity due to sound leakage. Closed ear is bad in that it can cause sweaty ears and the soundstage tends to be narrow, but positional audio is surprisingly good on the PC-350s despite being closed ear and not 5.1.
My boy just got the Dr. Dre beats adn he let me borrow them today. They are pretty awesome and comfortable. also complete cancels outside noise.
Anyway I want to get a pair now and was wondering if there are better options for HQ studio headphones, seems like i may be paying for the name.
