    .gifs

    Why do they open in IE? And how can I change them to now open in IE?

    (in a windows folder) Tools > Folder Options > File Types and change the program you want it to open with.

    Or Right Click a .gif > Open As > and change it there.

    I use Windows Picture Viewer.

    I changed it to windows photo viewer, but when i try to open it no animation lol

    I assume you're using windows 7? If so windows photo viewer will not animate the gifs, that why they open in IE.

    IfranView will also animate them if you have it installed, otherwise you can resort to what's been said so far.
