Grey Goose is the worst-tasting piece of overrated trash I've ever drank. I've had house vodkas that taste better. I swear they put rubbing alcohol in a frosted bottle and sell it to schmucks who just want to wave their wallets around.

I don't understand why people say Grey Goose is expensive. I mean, sure, bottle service is $100-300 depending on where you go, but most bottles will run you that much or more. A fifth is like $30 at the store, though... I've never looked at someone ordering Grey Goose and go "damn.. baller."

Agreed. I don't even know why it's considered a top shelf vodka. Anyone who gets GG when Chopin is readily available is a moron. Chopin tastes far superior, and they generally cost the same.

It's more a matter of it being a vodka that should cost $20 a fifth. Hell, Tito's is better but literally costs half as much.

gin and tonic is my drink, flavorful without being too girly. it's basically a grown-up's lemonade vodka. except when you add the hendrick's... that is a whole different story, an epic tale even.

I will note that shitty bars that use shitty liquor but make strong drinks (i.e. every gay bar ever), I fall back to cranberry vodka, because using too much gin if it's not good just ruins the drink.

Not a fan of gin myself, always had a real harsh taste to it and not much flavor. Never had a good gin though, so maybe I'm missing out.

Used to drink mostly vodka cocktails; Madrases and Screwdrivers. Shots were almost always tequila. Nowadays it's whiskeys, bourbons, scotches (Macallan 25 is absolutely phenomenal, killed a bottle with my father on his birthday), Jager and SoCo.

I don't understand how anyone can order a PBR, Keystone, or Natty at a bar with a straight face. Occasionally I'll go for a Bud Light but most of the time it's Sam, Yuengling, or Guiness.
