The thread is FINALLY here. Sorry, I've been both lazy and busy.
So, the story of the week is Freeney. Will he play, will he sit, will he play in a limited role, etc and so on. Earlier in the season, Freeney suffered a four week injury. He returned in a week. The guy sleeps in a hypoberic chamber.
It doesn't matter though. Freeney, Brock, Jamarcus Russel, who cares who lines up. Drew Brees is going to pass the ball, he's going to do it with immense success, and they're going to score points regardless.
That doesn't matter either though. In every single game the Colts have decided to show up, they've won. Why would I bet against them now? Well, I wouldn't. Indi has been here, they've done it. They've got the best QB in NFL history, and they have two weeks to study that defense. A defense that lives off of turnovers, a very high risk, high reward defense that has trouble when they can't force turnovers. The colts have yet to turn the ball over against two very very good defenses in the first two rounds. I don't think Manning is suddenly going to turn the ball over here, especially after two weeks of prep. I love the over, and I like the Colts to cover.
Indianapolis 34-24.
