Don't know how often you guys check MAG's site, but they've added a leaderboard. I'm ranked 1615th in knife kills!

Been away for almost a week should pop back on. This week, played a few other games.(like 2 more runs of heavy rain lol) and a few hours of other stuff.
Got a question if any of you guys know: did the 3 retailers with preorder bonuses, were they all extra costumes like Gamestop's was for SVER? If so, anyone interested in trading a Raven one for SVER? lol
Raven and Valor codes are much harder to come by, since no one buys their games from Best Buy / Game Crazy.
>.> I cant find myself on the leader boards for kills, knifing I foundmyself was liek 10000 ~)~
I saw my kills there and then went looking... Where I should be is missing LOL there is jsut a gap from 4450 kills to like 4430 kills it seems the 4447 I have is just not there.
Guess Id be around 1600 in ranking as thats where the 4430~ are.
my k/d is 6963 tho.... Why does it seem so hard to get a good ranking on this? I was in the top 2000 in both socoms >.> Maybe I am just getting old.
you're probably competing with people who've been sniping for their entire MAG career. So people that rarely die and get lots of kills, but dont get very many deaths(i.e. people who snipe in Raven and Valor domination)
i will try to get on today if i can get away from BC2 lol, and if my bro isnt being a beezy.
Is BC2 worth getting at all? I played the beta and it was MEH. It was cool and all but seemed a tad slow. With really only one thing to aim for it seems like there is little to do. You have to go for that one thing(unless other maps offer more targets)
One thing I like about mag, if you are failing you can always just move onto something else.
I didn't like the beta at all either. If I were going to get it, it would probably be only for the single player. Next shooter I will buy for the online multiplayer will probably be Socom 4, or possibly Medal of Honor reboot depending on what it looks like.
Lolin' over here, I just snagged a double knife kill. One swipe went straight through into a guy behind the first one I killed.
Ok, I picked this up and I've been playing all day. So now I have a few questions. First off I'm assuming you get zero match bonus xp if you don't win correct? When do you start getting different guns? I'm level 10 and I'm still using the same guns. The only thing I did was get a different scope for my sniper rifle. I've been running around trying to repair things as I go. I just unlocked the second healing spec so I can heal people who are already down. So right now I'm Field Support. How do I change that into something else? If anyone ever wants to play look me up Brillcs is the tag.
1. All of the stuff(FRAGO, kills, obj stuff etc) goes towards your exp total at the end of a match but if you lose you get no extra win bonus.
2. You unlock them with your points. One is generally in Tier 2,3,4, or 5 to use.
3. Depending on how you play, and your unlocks, you will be specified as "Field Support" or "Sniper" and so on.
Any bonuses or anything to a particular class? I'm a little disappointed with the amount of boards are they adding any as they go along?
You on SVER? And yeah, they'll be supporting the game with new stuff
Logain did you just vet over to a different PMC?! You bitch! I was about to invite you and you disappeared from clan list!
Just vetted over to Raven... clusterfuck over here ><
I am level 52 now and I am not sure if I want to vet to a different pmc or not. I might stick with SVER for a while at 60 to enjoy having everything unlocked that I want but eventually vet over to valor probably.
I have no interest in the other PMCs or trophies myself, so I'm definitely sticking with Valor now that I've hit 60. Though I do sort of miss watching the exp bar take a massive jump up after a really kick ass match.
However, being 60, i can finally respec a bajillion times to try out all the different skill trees and such. So far I've found that no matter what, I love the CQC and PD trees, and that the electronics tree is very expensive for very little pay off. I mean, I have the motion sensor on my main Commando build, and it's real nice being able to tell where other people are, but the other stuff doesn't seem all that useful for a close up grunt like myself. I've also found out how messed up and expensive the AR tree actually is, and how heavy...and kind of unimpressive...a fully loaded one can be.
So what's the best way to get a lot of use from the AR tree while still having enough SP to fully open up the CQC/Athletics/Support trees? I think my biggest issue with the AR was just a crappy attachment load-out and skill selection. Also, is the Battle Rifles actually worth it now that they're supposedly stronger, or is the AR2 still the best AR Valor can get?
