With the Platinum involving being 60 in all three PMCs, the game will be forced to balance itself in time.
As for Valor winning in Sabo, it seems that they've found their stride when attacking SVER to the point where most battles there end up in major victories. The B objective is easy to take when your squad comes up the right so all it usually hinges on is whether or not you can get a good squad on A.
But yea, I love how a match can just turn around at the drop of a hat. The heavy focus on objectives in this game is one of the biggest reasons I've become such a fan. K/D means squat when you blow up your enemies final line of defense and overrun their lines.
My K/D ratio in this game is horrible because I spend most of my time running out into the front line and rezzing people. Then I usually get gunned down in the process.
There's a guy trying to reach level 60 without killing a single person, leveling up entirely through support classes lol
...god damned hippies
Sent a few more clan invites, hopefully we'll get a squad full of BG members at one point, would be fun.
I am going to drop from my clan, the guy is nice and I will still play with him. I only chill with like say 3 of them so BG clan sounds better to me. Also my kill to death is around 1.3 I think now? I have a fully loaded sniper build and MY GOD, shit is nasty. I went like 35 and 6 on a defend map before. only thing is that about half the maps its not so great on so I need to make a second strong build. any ideas?
SVER - JPittenger
Been playing this a bit, and I really like how when you get a good group going, shit gets done. I just hate getting people that don't follow objectives and you wind up losing, but its still fun.
Updated and I'll send clan invites out when I log in tonight
And if you have some friends you'd like to invite to it, just ask and I can probably give you officer to invite them. Btw, is there a limit to how many officers you can have in a clan?
this game looks really fun, just waiting on gamefly to send it or im gonna save up some money in the next week and prolly get it used. ID is SupaStupidHigh and i should have a mic by the time i get the game so i want in! ill prolly go SVER
I might drop my clan then if you guys are making one, there's only two other active players in the one I'm in right now. What are all of you're plans for 60? I'm almost there and I'll probably stay put on SVER.
Good games recuperi. Can't believe that faggot squad leader tried to kick me because he wanted the turret all to himself, and then I came top with like 900exp. What a douchebag.
He sat there in the bunker turret with the frago set on the bunker so he'd rack up extra exp, while we were losing the shit we were supposed to be defending, he ends up dying then I jumped in the turret, so he takes the frago off of it then waits for me to die/get out. I ended up raping people for about 10 minutes and wasn't dying, so he votes to kick me lol. Random squad leaders are annoying
Ya it does get me mad when I am told "get out for squad leaders and platoon leaders only"
I tell them to fuck off when they do that, I am never in one anyways. I would much rather snipe so its all good.
I know I'm sticking around on SVER at least until I get the 1000 kill medal for SMGs. I just got the LMG one last night, but I think I'm just going to get the SMG in my last few points to 60. So far, aside from LMG foregrip, reflex sight, and stability, I've basically gone with as much field support options as possible, so I've finished the technology tree (motion sensor yay), repair/resuscitate tree, gas grenades, and nearly got the improved health.
Yeah, I saw that vote come up, and had no clue what caused it to happen lol. Most of the time if I end up SL on the defending side I put the bunker as a FRAGO just so there's a larger zone to get FRAGO bonuses, but I hadn't thought about the whole bunker turret thing. If that was the reason, then lol at him.Good games recuperi. Can't believe that faggot squad leader tried to kick me because he wanted the turret all to himself, and then I came top with like 900exp. What a douchebag.
Bleh I'm retarded, this time i'll post in the right thread, hooray for copy and paste. I just tried ninjaing in domination and it is ridiculous, ended up with 24 charges planted. Right when the match started, I ran past the bunkers to the main area and planted charges on probably half of the gates, mortar batteries, sensor arrays, and motor pools without a single person shooting me. More and more enemies will probably stay at the center, but until then it works wonders. You can literally take out half of the enemy structures by yourself in the span of 5 minutes.
Yeah. once you sneak past the bunkers it seems like you're home free for blowing shit up.
I'm rank 19? now I think and I'm starting to accumulate skill points because I can't decide if I want to go down the electronics or the explosives tree. My typical loadout is the PSK MG with reflex sight and grip, nades, and medical kit with regular resuscitation. What are your thoughts BG?
So, I'm really tired of MW2 and I've been tempted to pick this game up. I have a few concerns since its a decent chunk of change to spend on a game. My local blockbuster doesn't have it to rent and I can't find any demos on PSN. So, to those of you that have tried the Bad Company 2 Demo, how similar are the games? And, is it worth it to buy MAG if I'm going in clanless?
I was more excited for it after being disappointed by MW2. I enjoy MAG, although sometimes I wish there were a few more maps and some other game modes, but then I realize how huge the fucking maps are, and coming with 12 (15 if you count training) is pretty nice. I'm looking forward to DLC though.
Can always buy it and if you don't like it, sell it. Try to at least reach level 15 before you make a decision whether to give up on it though. Clanless shouldn't matter too much, you can always look for one as you play and get to know the game. If you join SVER I could toss you a BG SVER clan invite
