The main reason to. Be in a clann is to know they talk with each other, that is really whree the game shines. If you don't have a mic buy a 5 usb one no need to be bluetooth.

Made some guy really angry last night. He was mouthing off on his mic the entire match we were defending on sabotage(as SVER). So I found him guarding B and knifed him. He started flipping out. So I went back to sniping, he found me and shot me in the leg and commented "See I hit you but I didn't kill you" to which I responded with a sniper bullet into his chest, it didnt kill him but he got shot down by a stray Valor round and started flipping out again.

I finished the map with knifing him one last time. :D

I don't know about sver or raven's shotgun, but when Valor's shotgun is used right...it's a freaking beast.

Yeah, shotgun for close range combat is crazy powerful, I've been owned my them many a time. My friend just unlocked it too.

Now for someone who just played the multiplayer demo for Bad Company 2 and loved it. Which should I buy ? Sounds like everyone is digging MAG for the most part and I can only afford to get one. I'm fed up with MW2 and want something new, something with a little more focused team based gameplay. So BG anyone in the same predicament ?

Oh, it has a lot more teamwork than MW2, especially if you play with friends/good clan. Has an in-game clan system also, and you can assign officers to the clan so they can recruit people also.

I mean, you can go and run n' gun and go solo, ignoring your squad and platoon orders, and you probably will come across some people doing this, but they won't get very far and will end up growing bored of the game. Sticking with squad and sticking around objectives earns you extra points (FRAGO) which will help you level up quicker, also being able to revive/be revived from members of your own team is more than enough incentive to stick with them.

I hated Battlefield: BC1, I didn't mind Battlefield: BC2 though, but I found pretty much everyone chose Sniper in the Beta. MAG maps are huuuuuge though, especially domination maps as they have to accommodate 256 players.

Also: Anyone having any trouble hooking up a blutooth mic in this game? I have a third party one and it says in the PS3 menu that its connected but when I get in game I still hear the voices through the TV and as far as I can tell its not picking up my voice. Any ideas? (I checked volume and mute and the obvious stuff, thinking maybe its janky cause its 3rd party? but I don't really want to buy a new one.) thx.

Yeah sure.

Make sure the bluetooth headset is paired with the PS3, go in to Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices to do that.

If you have already done that, then go to Audio Device Settings and make sure Input and Output Device are both set to "Wireless Headset".

how bad do you guys think the echo is with the playstation eye? I'm | | <- this close to just trying it but i dont want to seem like an ass because i play with some pretty high volume lol

Some guy got kicked from my squad last night because he had his tv volume up so high you could hear everything echoing through it. He was also watching another tv and people got sick of hearing commercials through his mic. It really takes away from the game if you get too much echo.

It is weird this latest update they did seemed to make my connection stability worse rather than better. I rarely had freezes or DC problems before and now I get at least one 5:5 error a night.

I would really say get a USB headset ~_~;

I also suggest the USB headset. Cheaper and more reliable. Never have to worry about losing synch or charge while playing, dirt cheap and usually more comfortable too.

Also, not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I love the tier 2 Bazooka. The thing costs an assload, but hot damn is it worth it. Makes bunker busting a lot easier since it's more accurate and arcs up and over making it safer for me to RPG-snipe the guns from afar. Three shots and some love from my LMG and the turrets don't last long.
