I also suggest the USB headset. Cheaper and more reliable. Never have to worry about losing synch or charge while playing, dirt cheap and usually more comfortable too.

Also, not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I love the tier 2 Bazooka. The thing costs an assload, but hot damn is it worth it. Makes bunker busting a lot easier since it's more accurate and arcs up and over making it safer for me to RPG-snipe the guns from afar. Three shots and some love from my LMG and the turrets don't last long.

ya I did set it up once before just dropping it for a pure sniper build. It was pimping I have to say lol. But I found I am not that great at bunker busting.

I've got one but it doesn't work From that $10 google checkout thing a while back that basically made it free, but now it's not wanting to work anymore. What USB headsets work best with ps3? Don't have the money to throw down on that official PS3 headset or I'd have that already instead.

as long as its plug and play (99.9% of usb headsets) you should be set. anyone you can find.

You have to be fairly suicidal to hunt turrets, as if the gun itself doesn't get you, then half the squad that spawns from the bunker will. But it's such a satisfying feeling to see that hell-spewing weapon of pure hatred blow up in a blaze of glory, even more-so when you take out a mechanic or two at the same time.

Hell, you don't even need it to naturally be USB. I use an Analogue headset with a USB adapter (saw em online for 7 bucks or so, can prolly get em cheaper if you can find them in stores). I just plugged the whole thing in and it picked it up with no problems.

Yeah I use an analog headset for my PS3 using a conversion adapter to make it usb. I run the adapter with the Mic out wire into the usb port of the PS3, and I plug the Stereo out wire directly into my tv. This is the headset I use with my PS3, god I can hear everything... footsteps from a mile away, silenced bullet shots like they arent silenced, etc.

I guess my big thing was I have some inherent xbox rrod paranoia so I was scared to run anything plugged in for fear it would draw power and more heat etc... ya I know ps3 isn't xbox but man did I ever get a paranoid of my systems this gen lol.. I have a freaking sheet over my xbox/ps3/tv set up to keep dust out LOL you would think its a old restored car under there or something...

I guess if I cant get the bluetooth mic set up tonight I'll move to one of those deals Kazen has posted up there..

I wouldn't worry about a USB headset killing your PS3, mine has a headset, keyboard and sometimes the controller plugged in all at once and it runs like a champ. Just keep it out in the open and not in a cabinet and it'll be fine.

Slightly on that topic, but is there any possible way to turn the wired headset that came with my elite bundle into a usable mic for PS3? I've had that thing forever, but never had a need to use it on 360

I doubt it, they sell an adapter to get PC headsets working on the 360, but I don't think there is one going the other way around.

how bad do you guys think the echo is with the playstation eye? I'm | | <- this close to just trying it but i dont want to seem like an ass because i play with some pretty high volume lol

Put a pair of headphones on, then you can use the PSeye as a mic without having to worry about the echo and you can play as loud as you want.

Thats a nice headset. I just use a bluetooth as of right now, I have a vent one somewhat like that(did not run me 200 to cheap to spend that think mine ran me like 75)\\cant wait for my snow day from school. for whatever reason my college will close with any amount of snow, so with a them saying up to 18inc I should have off to play!

Well got my mic to work, and played a few matches of domination was great, except for the dude blasting Eminem for 20 minutes....

I'm using the 4x optical scope on the second SVER assault rifle, and it did me very well in that match. One question, anyone upgraded to the final battle rifle, and if so is it alot better than the one i currently have? Ill probably respec and only bother with one, when i have enough points. No point in wasting stat points on both I don't think. Opinions?

I have not unlocked the 3rd tier assault rifle yet but from what I saw it is more powerful but less accurate than the 2nd tier assault rifle. I opted to stick with the 2nd one for accuracy since the difference in accuracy seemed to be greater than the difference in damage.

Unless they made major adjustments between beta and release for the final weapon, you're probably better off just sticking with the first upgrade. The AG-94 can use the grenade launcher attachment too can't it? If not, that'd be the only thing that might make the AK-103 worth it.
