Unlisted is AF2 Head for Warcry, and Loq. and Nuevo body with Fast Cast for /NIN Ni and Ichi.

I know I need NHead, Gorget for KJ, +5 STR Ring, Alkys, VBelt, Heavy Gauntlets, Shadow Mantle, another Triumph Earring for using WC, I'd love any other advice.

You could get a jelly ring, it will benefit both your BLM and Brd's idle set.

Looking at your march's set, i counted 500 skills ( singing+wind), which is within the 487-505 tier, which means you are 6 skills short of next tier/13 skills excess. Either you can try to get that 6 skills ( cape/ear1/af1+1 leg) or replace your 13 excess skills with -PDT while you sing. Unless i am mistaken that you have those singing/wind merits.

Have Tomoe but really don't even know where to begin with a Polearm TP set or Penta WS set, so any and all advice on that would be much appriciated. Also, what other gear sets do I need? I'm a noob when it comes to SAM.[/spoiler]

Your Mad/Min set doesn't cap for Madrigal. You need +58 skill in gear if 0 merits.
Also your Mad/Min set is way over skill for Min cap (only needs +12 if 0 merits).

Use your march set for madrigal. Drop excess skill stuff in min set in favour of what you use in your idle set (MP/pdt). There's no point in dropping your MP if it's not boosting your songs.

Also use your Manteel for all the buffs. Can start casting in it then switch to Minstrel's Coat for FC and skill+. Win/Win.

What about idling in BQ ring untill you get the Patronus ring? Would also mean you may be able to bump up your convert a bit more.

Your idle set has the lowest mp of all. Probably switch your feet to moriggan and that ear1 i assume is novia? I would use loq earring instead.

Enhancing: I think you have 296 skills from that set? I don't know what that hat's augment is but i would use af1 hat + af2 body for fast cast.

Yea, should probably get a BQ ring in your idle set.

Edit: Get a stone gorget too! Man, i want that muffler ;x

Am I the only person who thinks idling in Jelly Ring is a bad idea? Defensive idle setups are supposed to mitigate damage that you don't necessarily see coming, and if that happens to be magic damage (possibly incurred by walking into range of an AoE nuke or magical TP move) then obviously you don't want to be wearing Jelly. Personally I think Jelly Ring should only be swapped in actively when you think you're going to be taking physical damage.
