I'll probably get flamed for this too, but weed just isnt cool. There is nothing special about it. Ive also heard that smoking weed is about 10x more hazardous to your lungs than smoking cigs (not that I would smoke cigarettes anyways).

I say the same thing about booze, or any mind-altering substance, and people look at me as if shit just flew out of my nose and onto their dinner plates.

Perhaps I'm too much of a cheap bastard, but I rather enjoy being in full control of myself, and I don't mind feeling "normal". Default isn't a dirty word to me - I don't need to alter anything.

It's kind of a hazy topic. From what I've read, Weed in theory is more carcinogenic to your lungs then tobacco but studies have also shown that its so lethal to the cells in your lungs that it spurs on the creation of new cells getting rid of older ones before they get cancerous. Also nobody has ever smoked the equivalent of 2+ packs a day of weed for long enough to truly determine the long term effects. Anyways so many other ways to get the wonderful THC if it dont get along with your lungs should invest in some brownie mix/vaporizer lol

Weed is overrated in my opinion. Being high is ok but not nearly as great as everyone makes it out to be. I'll take a nice beer buzz over being high any day of the week.

I smoked up a lot in college, but mostly because every room I went in to someone passed me a bong and felt it would be rude to say no. We used to go to this one guy's room, get high as fuck, and play Contra on the NES all night. Man those were some fun times.

I've never once payed for my own weed, and I doubt I ever will, but I also probably won't reject it on someone elses dime either.
