So about a week ago I applied to Defiance on Midgard. It's not the most respected shell on the server, but it is the only endgame one that I know of that is accepting new members and can even begin to conform to my work schedule.

My sam is pretty decked out. Haub +1, toreador's x2, haste earring for /drg, hagun, peacock etc. and when it hits 75 I have a Kirin's Osode and 2x flame rings ready to go for WS.

I got denied today. Even though they let in this:

Unless you have Usukane Haramaki (which the notation on the Haubergeon makes me assume not), x2 Toreador's doesn't mean shit on Samurai, but then you mention dual Flame Rings, proving you have no Rajas Ring...?

This character doesn't have CoP finished. Tough to do so when your LS is made up of players who just started within the last year-six months. However it wasn't in the requirements for Defiance so I applied.

If your shell is of no assistance to you, arrange them yourself via shouts: I did, and here I am with my second Rajas Ring without even breaking a sweat in all honesty.

Also check ffxiah.com before shouting, it'll save you some time and headache. You can usually find at least 10+ people on your server, on the same mission as you.

I don't think the player search is used often enough for missions.

It's only really good for Nation missions as no one keeps "I need CoPXX" in their seacom.
