It's only really good for Nation missions as no one keeps "I need CoPXX" in their seacom.

It's not about what they add in a seacom. As long as a player is linked to the playonline thing, then it will display your current mission for - Nation, Zilart, Promathia, ToAU, Assault, Altana, Campaign, C.Prophecy, M.KupoD'etat, S.Ascension.

Edit: It seems like you might have only read "I don't think the player search is used often enough for missions." and thought I was talking about the in game /sea all, but I was talking about ffxiah.com's Player Search.

That's probably a Muse Tariqah, which puts him at -35% Spell Interruption Rate plus the shield skill elsewhere. While it's not a horrible idea, it fails because 35% isn't really going to help. They'd have been better off with a proper PLD shield and casting Ichi in AF+1 boots, along with a Haste belt and Homam Cosciales.

This character doesn't have CoP finished. Tough to do so when your LS is made up of players who just started within the last year-six months. However it wasn't in the requirements for Defiance so I applied.

A gimp rdm can at least still refresh/cure. A gimp SAM is a waste of space in an endgame shell because they'll most likely have pleanty of SAMs which are no doubt much more well equipped/merited (Rajas etc)

I would have voted no based on this fact. Especially since right now your only 75 is MNK which doesn't get used outside of Salvage. Your SAM will still need lots of work/gear/merits once you hit 75 to be good for end game events, and a ls might also want you to have /thf available (which according to your app is not).

Melee only have to pretty much be rocking a relic/mythic and some really exceptional gear; like I should go blind from all the white boxes you are rocking to even have a shot at getting into a ls.

Leveling a support/healing job (brd, cor, rdm, whm, sch) would be in your best interests and really help your app a lot. Well that and knocking out sea.

Hey guys, you're kinda making this out to be a bigger deal then it is. I don't care that I didn't get accepted. I realize I'm not the most likely candidate for 90% of the end game shells on the server and I'm okay with that. I just figured I'd post an amusing story to go along with that rdm shot. No shit? He shouldn't be getting hit during Ichi to begin with though, so why the hell not? Yeah I miscounted, the extra 17% makes a decent difference but you're depending on him having SID merits, a SCH, and a COR there. I see neither a SCH nor a COR, though they could be offscreen or behind the tree, but you're making a lot more assumptions as compared to simply inferring it's a shitty hybrid build because he doesn't fully understand SID.

So unbelievably true. But the most galling thing is when you have to jump through hoops to get into a shell and find that they later let in some retard who TPs in Flame Rings and a Purple Belt without a fuss, yet still gives you the "lolmnk" line when you outparse the rest of their DDs.

I quit that shell after that. I wish I took screenshots of the people in question.

It's definitely satisfying when that happens, even though the majority still won't give you the light of day. My jobs at 75 are MNK and BLM -- that's it. The latter participates in whatever the former can't. I've always considered MNK my "main," even though -- after six years of playing -- most would be surprised at my gear set. Despite its mediocrity, I actually know how to use what I have, and out-parse people with significantly better equipment.

Personally, I'm more interested in working with people who appreciate actual performance, and don't judge a book by its cover. Too bad they're hard to find, but at least I can run with some of my friends on Pandemonium, who aren't a bunch of dipshits.
