If this hunch turns out to be so, then my reaction of going "O.O" will feel entirely justified. And it makes me wonder what the leg augments were.

The only thing I can think of for that smn is maybe its a half assed melee build for doing a quick FoV with a friend or something before sky?

Like if they're gonna be killing mobs with one summon why not toss on a bit of att and melee it to speed things up?

Aside from coming /DRK to a sky god and having a pretty minimal HMP set for the couple of equiped items I see I fail to see what is wrong with the whm.

I'd at least give elementa credit for having a better melee build than that (lawl) That just looks like obvious "I burned my SMN, and now I'll just use what I have lying around that it can wear"

Yes, it's been a few days since this was posted, but meh, haven't lurked BG since then, and I can't pass this up.

Actually, you kind of hit the nail on the head here. There is almost no situation where a Hagun SAM should be using an Ace's Helm either. Yes, I have one. No, I don't use it, because I don't suck.

This might be the first time I've ever seen someone explain that the reason it is ok for them to be gimp is because they don't have a satchel. Is 6k gil really so much that you can't justify using pizza for a 20 minute fight?

While full usu might not be the best set for sam, I think calling it sub par is a bit much.

Only thing I see wrong about that thief is that they don't have Assassin's Armlets and that they're most likely there before 15%~. Realistically, no offense, but if a thief is the absolute best dirt you've got on that shell while they fight Ixion, then I'm not sure if this classifies as a realistic submission; just an honest opinion.

On-topic though with our favorite past notorious monsters, here's what was trying to outclaim us one morning!

nq coral ring, eris' earring, headlong belt, and what I assume was a raptor strap +1: mad good. Also, forgot to mention he fulltimes those nq wyrmal legs on his ranger (includes ws and tp) ^_^

You do realize, its SW? RNG is useless on all SW mobs, he obviously was scanning for a mob his LS claimed. I'm surprised they actually equipped armor, I usually just Wleg / Ranged weapon that shit up.

Oh I entirely agree about wlegs/weapon/powders and gunning it, but it's the fact that they "fully gear", and then resume to still eat shit, even with a whm backing them.
