Merit parties I'm usually in, roughly birds don't stay alive more than 8~12 seconds. Sometimes I run into the problem of killing too many mobs too fast, and most merit parties I'm in don't even want to touch Wivres.

Then there's the dumbass queers who QQ because you're "taking their mobs". Get outta here with that shit.

I'll concede to Dread Spikes between mobs (there's time between mobs?) but reflecting that other shit on yourself / pt is going to do more damage than good.

Yeah, casting that stuff in a Colibri pt is a pretty silly idea, but if you're on a Wivre or mamool pt then they can be pretty nice, especially on mage mamools.

The general argument was he didn't want the extra 2% haste because he'd pull hate and die etc. The guy is beyond stupid and the fact he has 'winning your parses' as his location makes me laugh too much.

Tbh, that's why I like white mage better at merits. I normally merit on bard, because I always end up with the retarded sams who like to voke, don't use seigan and have berserk up as much as possible, when I go red mage lol. I don't claim to be the best red mage in the game but I certainly don't suck, and it's rough keeping up with heals when you have 3 retards doing that, let alone a monk doing it, yeesh.

ITT: SAM/WAR that doesn't use Seigan* has more survivability than MNK/WAR.
