I can assure you that saying Tor>Rajas is every bit as idiotic of a statement as the dozen or so smartass RL>FFXI comments you made after you lost your account.

In a realistic scenario, a PLD is almost always guaranted to get hit (even if it's just an aoe move) and receive TP, therefore making Rajas not *that* needed in order to achieve a xTP build. And if a PLD is never getting hit then something is wrong.
So yeah, Toreador x2 or Kusha/Lava would be better if you keep that in account.

Rajas is usually better for 2-handers and not just those, but I'm not sure why people are putting that on the pedestal for a job that is there to get hit (read: on anything that matters, not crappy mobs with low accuracy and no double attack/AoE moves).
Most of the time it's people who can't be bothered to buy a second acc ring or camp those NMs.

We're not specifically reducing xhit; we're increasing the rate of TP generation.

Also, you gain more TP from being hit with Rajas on (not by much, but still) - there really isn't a situation where your melee will be significant and Toreador's > Rajas.

To each his own, like I said earlier, the pld in question would be better off using 2x acc rings > rajas simply because his other gear is lacking. Also, the closest I've come to saying RL>FFXI is that I've found I have much more free time to do other things.
