    Firefox not playing Videos

    Aight so... all of a sudden I look up a song on youtube and while it's loading, FF froze, restarted etc and this shit is still happening. Windows Vista btw and it was working this morning but now it keeps freezing. I tried other video sites and the same thing, starts loading, freezes then I have to close it. I have the latest version of FF and all.

    Actually, lock this. After restarting a second time it finally worked -.-; still weird that it did that randomly.

    Well, if it happens again it might be worth updating your flash player if it's not already up-to-date or even consider a beta. Flash in general can be a resource hog, which I guess could cause freezing just from that, being why HTML5 video is potentially a big deal.

    Yeah, but the only thing I found out right before I restarted a second time was that WMP wasn't working either, it froze so then I said fuck it and restarted. I assume it must've been something to do with my computer rather than FF. Hmmm.. disappointing regardless considering this comp is only a month old.

    I had a somewhat similar issue when I upgraded to Windows 7. Before I always used Firefox and never had an issue streaming videos at all. After I upgraded, for some reason, Firefox would never play them. When I tried IE, they worked fine. Tried updating Adobe and everything else but nothing. Ended up uninstalling firefox and now using Safari (Couldn't stand IE... still no better than when I used it 4+ years ago)

    Any ideas?
