last night i ended up sitting in my truckbed for about an hour at 3 am just enjoying ambient silence. it's really fucking noisy where i live, and there was something really deep about just sitting alone with my thoughts without any noise in the fog without any traffic or anything making sounds. i knew what was around me, but without any visuals of my surroundings, they didn't matter. realized just how mechanical everything i do is compared to when i was 5. kind of upsetting
