They are hit or miss live. The singer is either awesome or fucking terrible. It's just the energy. I wanna go to an Opeth concert so bad too, they are so good live.

Searching "concert" is fucking complex.
I went to see OkGo on a whim, was an intimate gig, but really enjoyed it, surprising considering i knew like one song.
Daft Punk in Berkeley, CA's Greek Theatre a few years ago. Hands down.
Not necrobumping is fucking complex.
That thread hasn't seen the first page since 2008. Had he made a post, many would have chewed him out for necrobumping. So, he made a new thread. If no one cared, it would gradually but surely sink to the bottom of the data heap, no fuss no muss.
Please try a little less when trying to be a smartass. It's totally acceptable to substitute an actual point with biting sarcasm.![]()
Franz Ferdinand is really sweet in person. I went to see their concert at the Riviera in Chicago last year.
The way they customize some of their songs for their concerts is just ridiculous.
Maybe cause it's fresh in my mind, but I just saw Minus the Bear.
MTB and Maps and Atlases were great, the middle group was perhaps one of the worst supporting acts I've seen.
Tom Petty - Air Canada Centre
The best concert I have ever been to. I wasn't really expecting it to be amazing after I had seen him play the super bowl, but I was wrong.
2nd best: Roger Water - Skydome
How can you go wrong with Pink Floyd? It was funny because there was so much smoke by the end (people were pretty much hot boxing the arena)of the show that when they opened the roof to the skydome you saw all of this black smoke just get sucked out by the outside air. It was disgusting yet beautiful at the same time.
SOJA
opeth and dir en grey on the same stage at donnington 2009 was the coolest thing I've seen.
Although I have tickets for Opeth in april and that will prolly be the best concert ever even in the future :3
TOOL - Epicenter 09 Festival - Saturday, August 22, 2009... a holy experience!
Slipknot puts on a very good show. Saw them 3 times and each time was fucking amazing.
I like hip-hop so um I would have to say Jay-z Hard knock life tour concert.
Methodman and Redman opened up and did How High hanging from the rafters and dropping down into the crowds and grabbing blunts from everyone was epic.
Bustah Rhymes and DMX was also there DMX amped up the crowd like no one else it was great.
For rock I went to the Aerosmith Pink album tour concert that was good also.
Muse. Hands down.
All general admission venue in Philly blew my mind. And I've been to a LOT of concerts.
A Day To Remember headlining for For The Fallen Dreams at a small venue in my city.
Before Homesick came out & they were just playing their new shit.
#1 Was Foo Fighters In Your Honor tour, with Weezer Opening
#2 Fall Frenzy in Tempe, had Social D, Flogging Molly, Blink182, Fallout boy (lolz), Pepper, Slightly Stoopid
Explosions in the Sky 7/2/09 Chicago.
Epic Show, I've never seen a band that was so into their own music, it's as if they were a part of their music, and not just musicians playing for money
Coheed and Cambria Neverender New York City
4 Day show, A different album played in full each night, doesnt get much better.
edit: I saw Regina Spektor mentioned on the first page, I was recently extremely pissed/disappointed when I found she was playing a show in Louisville that I didnt hear of until day of and of course didnt have the the money for since it was day of, oh how i was pissed ><;
Tool.
Cypress Hill
Mxpx
Lagwagon
Jurassic 5
SARS most of it was gay but was good when it was dark finally.
seen alot of good local bands and smallerish bands that i wont mention here. if your city has a good music scene you should get out and check out the no namers.
I've seen Tool on three seperate occasions, all in different cities. And each time, Maynard spent the whole concert just standing there with his back turned to the crowd. Did you guys also experience this? Cause I actually consider Tool one of my least favourite bands to see live... And I love Tool.
The weirdest thing about it is, when I saw A Perfect Circle he didn't do it. He was up there putting on a show.
I confirm for Sigur Ros. Saw them last year in France, you feel like a little kid amazed by such beauty.
Tricky - saw him 3 times and 3 times I was in trance. Best perfomer live in my opinion, very intense. He's like a guru, an Indian chief.
Third, Keren Ann (french/israeli singer), so much feeling with so much simplicity.
I was disappointed by Muse : only one hour, same version of all song, It was like listen to the CD.
(sorry for my english)
