Up In Smoke Tour, GM Place was a giant hot box. Lol.
Live PA Set from Daft Punk was insane.
Any club event with P.O.T.D (DJ Dara, AK-1200 & Dieselboy) these 3 guys always put on a crazy show.

They still do Planet of the Drums? The final stop of the first tour was in Myrtle Beach SC, fucking amazing party all around.

And any time Engine Down ever played, as well as any time in the past, present or future where These Arms Are Snakes played/plays, also qualifies as the best show ever.

First concert I ever went to was Meat Loaf in the mid 90's. I remember sitting practically right next to the speakers and came out unable to hear anything properly for a few hours.

I saw Sarah McLachlan at the Apollo in Manchester. She sang Angel at the end and it was dead quiet and people were trying not to cry.

Then there's Muse - brilliant both times I've seen them.

I saw a radiohead concert a year or two ago now that was pretty kickass The only downside was the chick sitting directly in front of me was totally cracked out and had some trippy dancing going on. It got old after awhile with her blocking the view and what not, but what can you do.

Muse I would looove to see, although they're not coming around my area this year.


And just to add...worst concert I've seen? U2 hands down. God that sucked. Didn't help my hatred of Bono any.

I think if I had to pick a band that I WANT to see but likely never will (but that isn't completely outside the realm of possibility) it would have to be System of a Down. God damn I wish they would get back together, kicking myself for never seeing them.

Actually I also forgot a pretty good concert I saw for free at UF - The Expendables, Pepper, Reel Big Fish and Less than Jake (didn't like them, other 3 were great though, especially Pepper). Definitely the best free show I've ever been to.

That's too bad about SOAD. I heard one of their songs just the other day and was wondering if they were still together. Was never a huge fan of theirs, but I did like a couple songs.

Also, living in NC sucks when it comes to good non-local indie music. Closest venue worth a fuck is in Asheville, and that's like 5 hours away. There are like 34657674373464+ mediocre local americana/folk and indie rock bands that all sound the same though.

I guess it doesn't help that I prefer indie pop with female vocalists. Which pretty much eliminates about 99% of American music.

The last stop on KISS's farewell tour! It was suposed to be the last show they did, so they brought out all the stops.
