I'd use Stan's thing, I'll likely be moving all my stuff over to that because forums-free is ass.

if you have someone willing to do, create your own system. if not, go with stan's. we created our own, because we handle drops in a specific way out of what the generic dkp systems offer: each member can bid on a drop when he signs up for an event. his/her bid will only be visible to him/herself, but the total bid count on an item is visible for everyone. 30min prior to the event start, sign up will close and all bids show.
based on that list, the drops will be given out. after the event has finished, a sac/leader checks who has joined / got drops and closes the event. this will automatically adjust the points (give for attendance, remove for drops). additionally, sacs are able to adjust points individually as example for giving bonus points for provided pops etc. for more details check: http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/showp...10&postcount=2
That system is incredible, I must say, though far beyond my skills at the moment.
Luckily though my system won't need to involve on the spot point listings. Instead the shell is built around this new evolith/evolith gear system. I am intending to have the shell farm materials to make the ebon gear, which will be synthed by an in linkshell member (already have our clothcrafter and I believe smith, just need a leathercrafter).
Then the points earned by members is spent to "lot" the armor made by the linkshell that they have farmed for. The next step is, every second week, to go out and farm the aptants to upgrade the ebon gear and the pigments to pigment it.
Members who already have the base armor have lotting privileges over those who dont on aptants, and the left over aptants then go up for lot via points to those who itnend to get the armor later.
Finally the linkshell will then venture out to mass farm evolith stones for the armor. Instead of having to toss together a 3 man team to take down someone like lipiroon, the linkshell will be able to quickly and efficiently take down the NM, and due to the nature of the hunt system, everyone who singed up for the hutn will get an evolith stone.
Hopefully by the time most of the members who wanted a piece of gear get their gear, they'll also have their set of evoliths for it.
Along with this the linkshell is doing the evolith weapons, of which the base piece costs points which you bid, like the rest of the system.
The materials for the weapon on the other hand, the wolfram ingots and cobalt ores, will be stored by the linkshell and simply given to members as they get their weapons. Free of charge.
Generally when a weapon drops the NM also drops enough materials to almost make the weapon itself so all I need to do is keep track of who get which weapon in order, creating a line up of people who get the materials to make their weapon next.
Already I have a full party of 35+ synergists (including myself), including 3 @ 50, so making the armor and weapons, along with quickly HQing the slots, should present very little problem.
So far the only part of the shell that looks like it will create an issue is the pigments. The ease of obtaining all the other pieces of the E sets, materials/aptants/evoliths all look like a much higher supply when compared to pigments.
I'm not sure on the drop rates though, but I can forsee a large number of frustrated members with their specialized armor sets and 15 evoliths just waiting for their turn at pigments.
