Skill has a huge effect, as well. However, what Zhi is saying is right. If you can't claim consistently, you'll likely lose your members.

I more meant to the whole "We Rule" server X thing. I don't disagree with Zhi, I did camp against him and all. But I've seen linkshells rule servers without really touching kings, if at all.

Drop rate isn't that bad, my group got 3 in about 10 runs with 3 Ni and 3 Phalanx as well.

My latest streak on that bcnm is 0/36 for pcc. 1/36 for utsu:ni. My luck is balls.

You can be god at instanced content, capable of farming AV/PW(not that anyone can for AV atm), etc.. it's not any sort of control over others. A shell with a good bot, enough chars running it, and players that are capable of killing what they claim actually rules a server because they dictate who can get d.rings, ridills, and to a lesser extent king abjs(ein exists). You can be good at your stuff, but you can't stop anyone else from doing the same instanced content, monopolize sky or sea fulltime, or prevent others from doing AV/PW.

Generating the most items/money is not ruling anything. To rule implies some form of control, which non-kings shells lack. You can be good, but you can't rule in the sense that some kings shells rule kings.
