Probably one of the people you shouldn't argue with about getting shit done. Volume is from everything I have heard one of the more efficient linkshells out there, aside from what? Glorious attempting to jack some sandworms they don't have to camp on mains and can basically treat all hnms with go to kill when they pop. Even when Merc-X was around they always got events down as do most shells. How many pieces have you completed 235 with my groups members, and 56 ish 35's sold.

plenty of people do it all, they just salvage 5-6 times a week and not 7

So you have 232 drops no dupes.

Not sure how many drops we have now, but 1 year after Salvage was released we had 116 drops no dupes. This was in 2008, and I remember that because I uploaded the spreadsheet online as a 1-year celebration. At that point we had done Salvage as a shell for 8 months, but we didn't start Salvage at that point, we started Salvage when it was first released, but I didn't start statistics until I created my own shell. Anyway, it equals out to roughly 1 drop every second run. I have a spreadsheet at home from July 2009, which is the last time I updated the spreadsheet since I quit the game after that. If you want I can upload that one online later if you want proof, although it is about 6-7 months outdated as I doubt they quit Salvage when I quit the game.

And Kaces, what's your point? Are you claiming no one ever wiped in Salvage at the begining? Of course we wiped in Salvage back when no one knew how to do it. Hell, we entered Salvage first day it was released and got wiped rather fast, as there were no starting chest, and the only person with H2H skill and as such even able to damage something was the THF, who died rather fast as there were no magic cells.

That was good times, I thought Salvage was more fun before the starting chest came

Edit: It should have said every second day, not every second run.

I know what your point was, but he fealt like bringing numbers up.

Of course you're able to do HNM and Salvage and Dynamis and Limbus and Sky and Sea and <insert event> all at once. As I had everything I needed from sky, limbus, dynamis, sea etc. (and if I needed anything I could low-man it with Salvage shell) I chose to do Salvage instead. Partly because that gear is superior ro all remaining gear that I didn't have (Dalmatica, for example).

Mdk and Pchan were in a similar situation, and as we made a good deal of money from Salvage and other events we low-manned (and farmed, and crafted etc) the remaining HNM gear could simply be bought instead.

To be honest, I'm not sure why they say all other gear sucks. Personally I disagree with that statement, as it is a matter of opinion. And certainly they wouldn't buy HNM gear from other shells if they thought ALL of the HNM's gear sucks. I think its more a case of them finding camping HNM's with a shell is a waste of time. And that I have to agree with, even though I spent a few years of my time doing HNM's myself.

Post that in my recruitment thread i need more pawns to camp so i can get an usu body.

Some shells are good at time management, we kill everything and still manage to get 2 dynamis, 2 limbus runs, einherjar's, ZNM's, sea, ouryu's, bv2s, scnms, and salvage runs all in our events. We may not do salvage 7 days a week but saying a shell cant do HNM and other aspects of endgame is ignorant and stupid.

Are you counting those as drops or completed pieces. Because by Sev's spoiler, that is 232 completed pieces (696 drops) :3

35 drops. And all of them are completed too, as everyone have all of the 15 and 25 pieces they could ever need for any piece they want completed. 25's were one of our largest sources of income, as they drop far more often than 35's, and a lot of people chose to but 25's because their shell couldn't kill the boss, or didn't want to, or because they weren't first for it. Like I said though, that was 1 and a half year ago. And as we got better and better, as well as adding more Salvage runs, we got anywhere from 3-7 35's per week (with matching 25's and 15's)

Edit: just got home and checked my comp, it seems I don't have the spreadsheet anymore. Suppose I might have deleted them when I've cleaned my comp since I no longer play FFXI xD
