Good morning everyone!

I enjoyed reading the discussion, there were some really good points made, and some rather hilarious UMAD, but obviously I need to say something.

I made a mistake. Posting fake/joke gimps is not permitted (in fact long long ago Tempyst and I got in trouble for doing so and Sono raaaaaaaged), and in reading over Thorny's post, it looked like he had done so. This perception was compounded by the reactions, especially by those who know him in-game, of 'oh man you should have kept going with this, would have been epic joke etc.' Thorny should know better, I thought, so I gave him a one-day ban.

Thorny then made a sock account. This is very much against the rules (section VIII), with a very clear description of what happens when you do so. I banned both accounts. In reading the resulting conversations, it became clear that the original issue, the "fake" picture, was not fake, or at the very least only a little shoop to jab at another LS.

I PM'd Sono with the situation ("I fucked up on the original ban, sock account was made which is a legitimate rule-breakage, and Thorny doesn't have an AIM account listed on the forum so I can't contact him outside BG, what should be done?"). He advised that we should reverse the ban on Thorny, and consider time ban't as punishment for the sock. Which will be done as soon as I hit "Submit" on this post.

Just a note for future reference since I'm already in explanation/speech-mode:

When I make a mistake, or don't have all the information (keep in mind all I've got is what is posted, and sometimes that doesn't include context or back story), please assume it is because I don't know and help me out by explaining. I certainly don't relish the thought of saying "Check it out, guys, I fucked uuppppp yeah!", but I'd rather say it and fix it than keep fucking up.
