True, I wasn't really thinking when I said "taning gear". I put that down to being half asleep.
But doesn't change the fact I don't think any of our Sam/War/Drks want to tank really lol.

I wonder if Drg could put out enough constant damage to maintain hate, you'd lose High Jump, and to go /Nin you'd also lose a 6hit. Suppose you could use Love Halberd to keep your WS frequency high, but would need solid buffs to make it to good damage. If it's a mob Drg could tank, you could probably just TP burn it.

Much less actually but Throny used SE for damage 2-3 times and when he told me he was doing that I only had the chance to do it once. My own DRK will be a more sophisticated tank though (without -4 enmity merits :3)
