see, once things get so easy that you can beat everything easily, you want to do it the most efficient way.

That's not really the case for omega. Assuming the reason you're all so obsessed with efficiency in endgame is so that you can finish the event sooner and gtfo to do something else. If that's the case then it doesn't affect omega: doesn't matter how long it takes you to take him to <5%, still probablly gonna farm him for chips for the last 25 minutes.
