Linkshell policy, i do it by request not by my own will.

I'm not going to question and in turn probably get booted from my linkshell just so i can deal 5 more Damage to the mobs who die in 13 Seconds and in most occasion die before i can even target them.

Its one event, twice a week, for 2 hours... I'm there to finish off my Relic sets so i can store them, not be a pain in the ass to everyone there, and if that means Full-timing THF's Knife and Assn armlets... i think i'll get by, if just by the skin of my teeth.

I know its gimp, but it gets me what i want, why ruin a good thing.

If you're that worried about TP, get better support or get better at tanking. If you want to not engage and tank, like stated before, go on RDM.

These forums are about as repetitive as the actual game is, but people love the grind here and there.

rdm/nin tank sucks balls on khim for the last 25% if you have any kind of melee on it. You get your ass stunned way too often, and you usually only have time for utsu>ss>one spell before the next tp move comes in. Not that you are losing hate to mages or anything, but it's noticeable compared to a melee pld cotank.

rdm/nin is so much better than pld @ tia tho

Mobs in most dynamis die so quick (unless lowman) that swapping out Thief's Knife in favour or normal daggers isn't really a viable option. As for armlets, the choice of putting your other gloves in satchel and fulltiming vs onl swaping them in for the first action depends:
1) If you're linkshell doesn't consider Thief a DD and puts them in a gimp/blm party or something then you're damage will suck either way.
2) If mobs are dieing too quick then switching between them could possibly mean every now and then you might only put th3 on a mob, not th4. Probably rare though, and it's still only +1% to drop rate, meh.

I don't agree with the Main hand thing but this shell got my my Assassin' armlets along with my Valor Cape and a few other pieces of Armor like my SMN Bracers +1, so i deal with it for the sake of co-operation and they're pretty good people x.x
