Just saw your "mainly messing comment", thought you were being serious hence the reaction.
what the hell damn crap @ new sig SNK, I was like who the fuck is this
Treasure Hunter isn't real. It's a cruel joke by SE to make us think we actually have a better chance at having shit drop.
pchan will never admit he is wrong ever, even when he clearly is like now lol
I never understood peoples problem with this. Reward the player, not the job, wether it's a sellable or a r/e item. Leveling a job to 75 isnt reason enough to reward someone. Especially not when it's so easy to get a job to 75. That whm would probably have war to 75 in a few weeks tops.
Bottomline, if you want something, work for it.
Every LS I've been in except my newbie sky LS had the added rule "you can only bid/lot if you can equip it". Sometimes seen people be flexible with it for that guy with a bunch of support jobs who is power-levelling a DD for kicks or whatever, but it's a concept that works for most people.
Also, can't stop people selling stuff, but you can stop them lotting said sellable again!
Making lotting require job is silly. If you've put in the time and such, leaders need to recognize and allow you to lot.
Making gil items unsellable is even more retarded. What's wrong with someone selling a novio and buying better gear? They're going to spend it on their char, your ls is still getting a better char out of it.. if the novio was the biggest increase they could get for it's value, they wouldn't be selling it, now would they? The major exception is obviously selling it then selling the gil, but really, there's no way to stop that anyway so it's kind of pointless to even bring up.
So would you be ok with someone winning the bid on an ebody, then inviting a buyer to the alliance to lot on it?
If they were paying enough and nobody really deserved it, sure.
