Do it the prehistoric way.

Open Megavideo but click pause instead of play.

When the vid is downloaded 100%, pull the plug off your modem.

Watch Video.

Plug modem back in.

Repeat.

Using different browsers worked for me when I had to use Megavideo.
I watched 72 minutes of Superbad in Safari, hit the limit, switched over to Opera and watched the rest.
Just move the slider to where you left off.

If you happen to have an old AOL account, logging in and browsing through them acts like a proxy server. I tend to avoid MV when I can, but doing that, I hit the 72m, relog (don't switch SNs), go back and pick up where I left off.
