Instead of Prague, how about Košice? I've been all over Slovakia myself and it's wonderful. Plus, my family owns a class Hotel called Hotel Dalia. They bought it a few years ago and renovated, my grandparents have been over to see it, but I haven't yet. It's gorgeous, very classy. They also have a "spa" type facility. http://www.hoteldalia.sk/en is the website if you wanted to look, and if you're interested, shoot me a message.

is there anything specific you guys like to do together a lot (besides fuckin)? i mean, something that you guys honestly both really enjoyed before you met each other, and made things a little more natural? i'd say think about that one, and go wherever in the world they have the BEST of whatever thing it is that you do together, and enjoy it together. if you guys are wine tasters, go where the best wine is. if you're base jumpers, go where the best lack of matter for a considerable vertical distance is.

the idea is to find something thats special to both of you, and make it more special because its special to both of you

Music brought us together. She sings/plays piano/violin and I met her at a local music shop. We were both giving piano lessons there. Hit it off. We still play music, and enjoy finding new music. Also we both like painting.

Hell if you got the money for it I'd totally hit up Dubai, sounds odd but year round indoor skiing and amazing water parks is pretty hot IMO

He said he didn't want to spend tons of money lol...Dubai is nice but very pricey. I'm all for spending money if you got it but you don't want to start the marriage off in debt.

sounds like you need to go somewhere with a few beastly symphonies, local music gigs, and a lot of local artists. if both of you only speak english, go somewhere that english is heavily spoken. there's probably a lot of places that fit that criteria, but youre looking for the best in the world

We both speak english. She speaks French as well and is certified ASL (american sign language). I can speak Spanish if needed. It's not that we don't have the money to do things. I just prioritize the finishing touches on our house vs the honeymoon.

She kinda wants to go to NYC if we stay in the states, simply for the art/theatre(broadway)/ etc... Still not sure though since I want something
more. She'd be totally happy going anywhere for a few days to do w/e she
wants without work being involved. I on the other hand want to have some fun
while we're at it in a "foreign" place.

If you are from the states definitely get out and immerse yourself in other cultures, your honeymoon is a good excuse for going somewhere outside the country.

I don't know how its not mentioned yet, but one should definitely consider Turkey in anything related to tourism. For some reason we are not known well enough in the US even though we are the 8th most visited country.

A great honeymoon trip would be Greece and Turkey, ferry rides between Bodrum and Greece are very affordable.

Bodrum is wonderful in April(not in summer, waaaaaaay way too crowded with all Russians coming down. Little Russia yo), not too hot like summer.

It involves a good bit of everything. I'd definitely recommend Bodrum Castle, one that the Turkish Pirate (later on he became an admiral) Captain Barbarossa(yep, the very Barbossa in Pirates of Caribbean) built for himself after he defeated Doria in Preveza sea war. Also, Amphitheatre is excellent. Bodrum looks like this basically, its a small Aegean town.

Sea is great as well, but I'd recommend you to take a bus and head to Dead Sea, which probably has the best beach in the world.

More to the north, there is Smyrna and cotton castle where you can visit the Ephesus and the house of St. Mary, one of the 7 wonders of the world.

(No, these are not snow. Water's quite hot, you can swim if you like)

There is also Cappadocia, which attracts somewhat older tourists that are interested in Christian history. Balloon ride is incredible.

...I may get into Istanbul later, it'd be a huge post if I do so now...I'm sure bunch of people knows how I love to talk about it

I would definitely suggest Prague or Dresden over Vienna as a place for a honeymoon. The architecture was so much cooler in both places and Vienna is also really fucking expensive. But really if you decide on anyplace in central europe potentially look into doing a couple cities because you could easily see everything in a few days and the train rides between cities are incredibly scenic and not too long.

Something not mentioned in here, how about Stockholm?

    It isn't very talked about for some reason, but it's possibly one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. You can take a walk around Gamla Stan (Old Town for you not familiar with Swedish), which is the original city from which Stockholm was built up from;

You can take a boat ride and watch the city from the coastline (which is really quite beautiful and something I'd recommend), or take a trip to the archipelago. There's also the world's first open-air museum called Skansen

Just walking around Stockholm and you'll find lots of beautiful things, as people are very fond of keeping it beautiful with lots of nature.

    Anyway, some random photos

Besides, what other country has the world's largest golf ball?
    Spoiler: show

Also, did you know that the Stockholm metro is one of the world's longest art exhibitions? Its 110km long, and these are some examples:

Although considering how cold the winter's been this year, it might still be cold in April, and it wouldn't be very fun to go here then :3

As architecture & painting are two of your interests, plus you also mentioned Spain, you should consider Barcelona. It's a great place for a short break and there's plenty of art and architecture for you guys to see in 4 days.

Prague is a nice cheap option to go somewhere but it's more of a weekend getaway destination than a honeymoon location imo.

I've been to barcelona a few times, my great grandmother lived in Valencia. As a kid I would go visit her. Visited her maybe 4-5 times before she passed away. That's the only reason my fiancee kinda wants to go somewhere new, since it will be NEW to BOTH of us. I loved it though, it's a beautiful city.

Bora Bora is a longgggggggggg trip though. From your end, I would think 1.5 days journey connecting via New Zealand then Air Tahiti.

Besides, I don't think OP's budget can enjoy Bora Bora much.

I do agree, it's beautiful though. Weltall, you must be loaded.

    Anyway, last trip there,
