Pyment methods for online gambling

So I've never had a problem before with online poker, typically using echecks or my visa which comes directly from checking account... but today I got declined on a deposit through visa and then found out they blocked my card because of it.

I had to call my bank and get a verbal warning about online gambling, visa doesn't condone it etc, and if it's done on the visa enough times they will block the card completely and it will become an ATM only card. They unblocked it and whatnot for me on the phone. It's a Visa check card btw.

Will continuing to use EChecks be a problem? It's not coming through visa, it's a direct check/debit from bank account. The thing is when I got declined on the visa today, I tried an Echeck after and it worked, I don't want that to cause a problem with visa.

I know, don't gamble online etc, but when poker is an extra source of income, and there is 2feet of snow outside and more coming today - it's difficult to go to the casino like I usually do.

It's not Visa causing the problem here. They're simply complying with the law.

Under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006, credit card companies were forced to "...adopt procedures and policies designed to block the flow of prohibited funding to the operators of the affected online gambling Websites", which is why your card got blocked.

paypal was pushed out of the gambling world in the early 2000's due to some issues they had with fraud i believe.

Credit Card is your best bet although lots of cards don't allow online gambling purchases so you have to go thru someone like firepay, who incidentally doesn't even do online shit anymore lol.
